Way to go! You guys got a volunteer "fired". What an amazing accomplishment that is. Umm yeah, the Creators listen to the people at Anchor Cove... never. Who are you, stargirl?

I don't even think the Creators read this site anymore. It would be too depressing for them. LOL.

Yes, it does figure I'd jump to such a conclusion. She did a jerky thing to the lgpedia and now you're doing jerky things here.

Hello, this is jsmith (JD).
I realize none of you will probably read this post much less believe it. However, I will say it anyways.
Although the Creators have not went public with the reason for my ousting, I can tell all of you it is not because of the site. The Creators were quite amazed and happy with the progress I was making on the site all the way until the day I was fired. It was for a quite different reason. Personally, I know I am innocent and I wish that the Creators would call the police and have them investigate me so it can be released publicly that I am innocent.
However, the Creators, for their own reasons, have decided not to do such a thing and to let me go silently as if I were guilty.
I would also like to say that I am also responsible for a couple of other sites such as Sam Houston State University's site. None of my employers place my competence into question.
In addition, I believe it is important to mention that I did not vandalize the LGpedia nor flood the chat.
I did the following things:
1) I blanked my user page and star's user page 2) I posted on the forum that I was leaving at the Creator's request (this post was quickly deleted)
If anyone actually did read this, I thank you. If anyone believes me, I thank you even more.
Thanks,
JD

Hello, this is jsmith (JD). If anyone actually did read this, I thank you. If anyone believes me, I thank you even more. Thanks for posting here JD and I am sure that many will read this! As for "believing" you or not, I don't think you have shared enough information for anyone to make any kind of decision one way or another. But that doesn't really matter, it really is none of our business, that is between you and the c's. One of the things we are (in)famous for is shining a strong light behind the LG15 curtain, for better or worse. I think a lot of this is because we are the folks who were on the "hunt" for them and this is a carry over from that mentality. Whether that is appropriate or not at this point is a topic for another discussion... Were we critical of the BCD? absolutely. Did we have all the "facts"? No. Do we need to know all the facts now? No. If you care to share more, fine. If not, that is fine also. I would encourage you to have your girlfriend or other "friends" not play silly games here or at the phorum. Doing things like that does nothing but reinforce, possibly incorrect, assumptions. We are aware of the, uhm, personality issues behind the curtain. More than you realize probably. Trite saying, but actions speak louder than words. I say let it ride and move on.

What constantly strikes me about the world of LG15 is the endless drama, moreso behind the curtain than it seems makes it to the screen.
If you feel you have something to say, go out and say it. If not, you are of course welcome here to take part in the discussions of all other things.
Coming out and making vague allusions at a cover-up and a supposedly shifting of blame for an unknown act, is highly unprofessional, especially on a public forum in my opinion. It smacks of more attention seeking. And ultimately damages your reputation as a trustworthy contractor.
If you feel you have been wronged, either take it up with the c's, or seek professional assistance, dragging it out in public with such vague allusions is simply slander.
Sure, we are more critical of the c's than elsewhere, but I do believe we do so in a polite and rational way, this is no place for starting ill-intended rumours.
I am sorry, but I am not impressed by your conduct.
EDIT: I also fail to see how we should be responsible for anyone's firing. The c's do not consult us for their decisions, nor do we really expect them to.

JSmith, welcome to the Cove.
I have no idea what happened. Heard you got fired and that's it. Heard the LGPedia got vandalized by your gf and that's it.
So what happened? Can we be a little less vague?

The Creators have certainly had questionable firings in the past, so I am not on their side in this. Nor am I on Jsmith's side. Your explanation here was vague and I really have no idea what to make of it. I can't draw conclusions based on anything, so instead it'd be best to not make any. And I am also aware that your explanation will of course always contain some bias towards your side while if the Creators ever gave theirs it'd be biased towards them. Until we hear both and try and figure out what is true based on the facts (of which there are none that I think we can find). So yeah, we're kind of in the wilderness here with something that will probably never be solved.

To clarify,
I never meant to be shady or start ill-meant rumors nor do I blame anyone here for my firing. I only wanted to say that I was not fired because of the site.
The creators refuse to take this matter any further and are refusing any communication with me. I am looking into the possibility of taking legal action but that route has not yet been decided.
As for my girlfriend, I doubt she will be a problem here. I'm not even sure she is aware of this site's existence.
Thanks for all the suprise responses.

JS...I don't even know you, never knew you existed until today but you sure sound like a weasle the way you keep divorcing yourself from your girlfriend and her behavior. Either dump her or support her but don't drag her around saying "I didn't do it. She did it" and "I'm not responsible for what she does" and my favorite "I got on to her about blah blah blah" I'll be surprised if she let's you get on her again in the near future. Hmmm Smith eh? I'll remember that name

I have deleted various replies/parts of my posts because they were misunderstood. I left only the parts that pertain to myself directly.

My only advice to you would be to pursue it with legal assistance if you feel you have been wrongfully treated or have been withheld considerable compensation for work already provided. Otherwise it's not going to be worth it, nor would it really go anywhere. Since you make it obvious that contact has been broken off, maybe the best thing to do is just to chalk it up to experience and move on. I would really advise against anything else, no matter how satisfying public vindication or maybe revenge might sound, they are not worthwhile pursuits if you aim to be a professional. While I of course would like to hear 'the dirt' as much as anyone, I'm not sure it's in your best interest to spread it, unless there is proof and you have ruled out the legal option. K, I'm through with this topic. Next
