Received this e-mail this morning. Not sure where to post it in the reorganized Cove... I think I'm the only person who's run up against this sort of violation, so I thought you all might enjoy seeing what the notices look like.

For those that missed it: "Diddy Kong Goes Golfing" was, in fact, a clip of all the golf scenes in the music video "Mo Money, Mo Problems" edited into one long sequence.

Sadly, this marks the end of my days as a content producer.

thanks for sharing, jay. i heard viacom was going to start enforcing their rights, i guess their searches found you out.

when you try to open the link you see: "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Viacom International Inc."

i just hope they don't come for your avatar next, though i think we got that covered as parody.

Wow, there are so many million things on youtube which violate copyrights... I'm sure Viacom has hundreds of thousands of those alone... finding all that will be nuts. I'm surprised they found Jay's, they must be going all out.
If the right people start enforcing their rights, as we all know some LG vids will be in trouble too...
