Whoa, even the *soundtrack* is well researched. A departed acquaintence (we emailed, but never met) of mine (John Balance) co-wrote the song accompanying Crowley's homosexual adventures in raising Chronozon in the desert, and John was someone I met through the IOT musician channels.... Many of their tunes (often recorded under the band name of "COIL") are sex-magic songs, but this one in particluar was called "The Anal Staircase", about opening the gates of power through male-power-anal-sex. To the moderators: No, I am not making this up. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coil_%28band%29en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Anal_Staircaseen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illuminates_of_Thanateros

The Masters of Darkness ones? If you are referring to those then the narrator is an English ex occultist and heavily into the power of music to heighten conciousness. The series was shown on our Channel Four as a set based on influential occultists and they threw in De Sade for good measure. The man did a webchat on AOL too. www.channel4.com/community/showcards/M/Masters_of_Darkness.html

for my own two cents, i don't think they are an unbiased factual look at the man (the masters of darkness docs). sure he incited many to view him as they chose to, but no matter how much coil musick et c. is in the soundtrack, it still feels like a shock piece, meant to inspire fear more than to give a comprehensive overview of the man and his works.
