I am the user who registered and used the username "Danielbeast" at the lonelygirl15.com forum. [Proof: Screencapture of Danielbeast control panel.
Being responsible for what happened, I would like to answer any questions you may have regarding what happened.
I think it's already pretty simple what took place. Last week, when I saw a "lonelygirl15" had posted, I wondered whether the admin had reserved the LG and DB usernames so that no fakers would post.
So I attempted to register DB to see if they were reserved. And DB wasn't (obviously).
Once I had access to such a username, I saw an opportunity to corner the admin into a no-win situation. I contacted a fellow serious-minded LG investigator, shared what I had uncovered, and asked if I should do anything special then what I had in mind. The response was agreement that perhaps I might be able to use this account as a tool to prod the fakeness of our admin.
As unraveled last night, here is what I attempted to put into action: post a post that "feels" like Danielbeast and yet - in a round about way - infers that the LG15 episodes are a "project" and only deal with "accurate situations" (i.e. Dan Rather's fake but accurate) not being a real situation in itself. Also, I made sure that my post included a lot of skirting of the issue. Similar to DB's show of anger in his "Dad can go to H***" comment and LG's show of anger in her "f**** religions" comments, I made sure that I used what would be seen as angry language in my post.
As I saw it, if the admin were REALLY an overworked #1 fan who has only superficial and irregular contact with LG and DB then his response to my post might include:
1. not replying/reacting for at least an hour, but def. more then an hour.
2. in sending a YouTube message to Danielbeast's YT account asking if he actually wrote a post in the Phorum.
3. in sending the fake DB account a message asking a question such as "If you are the real DB what was the pw to the LG15.com account" or something similiar.
However, if the admin was actually admins desiring to keep the LG and DB legend alive then I thought this would happen:
1. Reply/reaction be immediate.
2. My post be deleted and username banned/deleted.
Within 15 minutes my post was gone.
At that moment I thought my username would be deleted/banned almost immediately as well. My intention then was to cause confusion in the users of LG15.com who beleive and contend that LG is real. What I did was leave some comments (and even replied to a PM) in the "spirit of a real DB" so that when my account was deleted, the users would use those comments to contend that I was indeed real and to make them prod more excuses out of Buki, perhaps showing them how superficial our Buki is.
However, my account wasn't deleted, my plan B (which wasn't even planned beforehand), didn't take place as I thought at the moment it might. But enough is enough, and I had done my experiment, so I didn't want to take the fake DB any farther. Also, I noticed this forum (allissabrooke's) was following my posts/comments closely, and I didn't want to waste you all's time. Soon after, I posted the "Yes it is fake" post, thus being public about the experiment and the outcome of the experiment.
The results of the experiment are as follows, in my opinion:
1. The admin follows the forum closer then he would have the users beleive. His busy schedule didn't keep him from noticing a post authored by DanielBeast had popped up in his forum.
2. The admin is not the #1 fan that he says he is. A #1 fan would rejoice at having Danielbeast post to his forum even though the forum defended him (i.e. "leave Buki out of this"), and if he were suspect of fakeness he would take steps to contact him, not delete him. A #1 fan would be anraged at reading my "Yes it is fake" post and would quickly delete/ban me.
3. The admin knew almost immediately that the "danielbeast" account was fake. No one knew 100% whether it was real or not. I made sure the post included enough material to keep both sides of the LG debate guessing.
4. The admin didn't know how to clean up after himself. It took more then 20 minutes for Buki to answer the question that popped up in the "Danielbeast post" thread.
5. The "profanity" clause given was made up on the spot, and served only as mild cloud-cover. Worse "profanity" has popped up in his phorum before, and has not been immediately removed. (Case and point: www.box.net/public/aimv08j0oa - Two hours after profane post still no admin response.)
Taking in consideration the other inconsistancies (long list - won't get into them here) seen in the phorum admin, I beleive whichever human being is behind it is in full support of the LG episodes, and will take measures to keep any substantial suggestion of fraud from standing on its own.
I beleive that Buki is a fraud, and his connection with LG and DB only causes them to be guilty by association.
If you have any questions at all relating to the "fake danielbeast" ordeal, please add them here and I will do my best to answer.
Thank you for your time.
