For the most part, that was boring. I am horrified at the mention of OpAphid. Aphidites over at the forum are jumping for joy at the thought that "OpAphid is now canon". I don't feel like her mentioning the name made it canon... that is until all the characters were given their own message board sections. So looks like it is canon. As someone who had never ever followed OpAphid and don't know the first thing about it (tried learning at the LGpedia but it's page is a mess), if it gets incorporated to a greater extent I will not be happy.

I'm still getting server down when I visit the site. It worked for a while today but that soon stopped.

i am having trouble too, could only get the link enough to start the thread. if opaphid is mentioned, this sounds like an indication that NBR & opaphid are NOT canon, but a move toward interaction with fan fic? or is cassieiswatching about to raised from the dead? or cassieiswatching222?
EDIT: OK, finally watched it. Cute. I doubt this is still a real motel room. The mention of opaphid was very minimal to the story.

It was minimal to the story... however the official site board suddenly has about 5 categories dedicated to OpAphid out of nowhere. Clearly, there is an organized move. I also just saw the main board description now described OpAphid as the "official LG15 ARG". Great...

I honestly think that OpAphid and Nikki Bower were not started by the creators (although NB must have a source) and that they have both been incorporated around the same time as the profiles on the official site are up. I think they are the first nods to a more interactive LG15.
I don't mind Nikki Bower, but I haven't been following OpAphid either.

will this mean that i need to watch more of those stupid cassie is watching style vids? i thought we were done with all of those and the related spinoffs. they were a pain to watch and seem to be left way to open, leaving alot for people to read to far into.
I think it is in the creators best interest to just have used this as a nod to opaphid. Alot of people will be unhappy if they involve yet another charecter nobody likes (re. Gemma)

Is foul language allowed on this board? I'm just asking because after the OpAphid incident, the only words I have on my mind are pretty bad words, so to speak. *diffuse feeling of terrible disappointment*

lol, within reason it's okay to throw in a damn hell what the sam f are they doing now?
but, as an aside with how we want to grow the board, let's try to keep things at least a little accommodating to auteurs and fans

I'm not following Opahid either. I watched the few videos and was like - umm ok. But I'm not into all the complex messages in binary and hexidecimal, hidden messages, and likewise. I don't see how that ties in at all to the LG storyline.
Can we recruit someone from the phorum who is way into it to summarize it all for us?

We actually would rather have clever criticism and elaborated thought instead of the transcription of a oral abusers group therapy meeting. ;D Take some fresh air and come back in a while..
