Let's not get in a pissing contest over this gents. I have utmost faith in BK's integrity but the c's have a TERRIBLE record of spinning tech disasters and I am (I think) deservedly suspicious of these kind of excuses from them. Perhaps the claims are true, who knows. I sure as hell don't want to see server logs or the like. It really does not matter, what's done is done. Let's move on. BTW, I thought S2 started today or am I wrong about that also .

Actually, the programmer has proof of the DoS attacks. He was finally able to block it Friday evening, and that's when the site became available again. They've been getting pretty relentless IP attacks over the past few days, which resulted in the sluggishness of the forum. Fair enough sir, the monkey is wrong again . I stand corrected. As usual. Just remember CG it's The Order what dun it and ran away, Whats an IP anyways??And whats a DoS??? Does that damn Order know something I dont ?Plff! Do we need to crack this code?is it a code, And what does he mean by "Relentless"? does that mean they are everywhere, Is "The Programmer" part of the Order,or part of The"C's" So many questions!.........

ok FLW mea culpa. Id the same thing to Margot (ooops Milo) a few weeks oag. There is definately something suspicious gong on in here thogh. I'm not being paranoid but lurkers seem to squeeze in from the smallest cracks, and if they are just plain infiltrators they kinda opiss me off. There wa a punk in the phorum the other day that nned to cooled down the other day. It would have been good medicine for mr to defy him, and then take him out to the pool for a cool swim

Perhaps the claims are true, who knows. I sure as hell don't want to see server logs or the like. I demand to see the server logs!! And that all the c's and all their friends and family sign sworn statements about this supposed DoS Attack. This will not be accepted! I think there were never any weapons of mass service denial - all those logs are faked and are just to trick us into having to use MySpace. Clearly the ad money on MySpace is worth more so they assassinated their own site (Oh the Humanity!) so they could install a puppet site, MySpace, as the solo source of the videos. Oh and I've heard that right after the site went down all access to it was grounded - except for the direct relatives of the gayliens - the gayliens that just happen to be CLOSE PERSONAL FRIENDS WITH GREG!!! IMPEACH THE CREATORS!!!

BTW, I thought S2 started today or am I wrong about that also . lg15.com is dead as a doornail right now. "Failed to open page." Nothing new is up on the Myspace channel either.

Now we're talking! I mean, if they have direct "Galien" support, then this can't be a technical issue. ETA: And the LG15 site just went down again. This crow I'm eating tastes just like chicken.

I continually eat crow Apo, it's pretty much a diet staple of anonymous posting judgementalism. Not bad with an Imperial Stout chaser, but the after-taste of self-righteousness is kinda off putting. Perhaps we have the classic case of the web producer who cried wolf and when the wolves really came we just don't believe him . I for one would love to help find out who is attacking them if they need help. The phorum probably has all kinds of serious tech folks, perhaps they can enlist their help....

I think what did\does surprise me (and makes it hard to believe it is true) about a DoS attack on LG, is that it is directed at LG. Unless it is some punk script kiddies (which is actually often the cause for a DDoS) as usually one needs to first release a virus to capture a bunch of drones that can be used as a botnet to attack the site - that is a lot of hassle to go through for such a relatively unknown site.
I think it must be a combination of an angered phoron that thinks BK wronged him in some serious way by deleting his post that "JesSaca is SOO HAWT I wants to DOOOOO hers!!!11!!" and the fact that they have an either inexperience or a far too busy tech people to deal with the problem. Also, regardless of any facts I choose to believe that a large part of the reason the site went down (at least initially) was the Bree effect (See: Slashdot effect, Digg effect...) and it was a flood of genuine (and unprepared for) traffic that made the servers just give up and die - and let Crowley take their blood.

Probably was the result of all the press and recognition on myspace bringing out the script kiddies. This is evident by the fact that there were about 30 people on the site and it was running so sluggishly. The programmer was blocking access to IP attacks all Friday evening and Saturday, and it would get better, then slow down again. The downtime last night was due to some upgrades. They were splitting traffic more efficiently across servers and adding additional firewalls to block those type of attacks. Unfortunately, they didn't give enough notice to inform folks it would happen. But the site is running quick today! Heh...that wouldn't surprise me! I also sense a conspiracy here. Terryfic shows up on the site to upload a video response and logs into the phorum for the first time in at least three years, and suddenly things are running painfully slow. Surely those two things are related.
