He has made it as a person playing a character on Youtube, and I believe a lot of people would be happier to have an autograph from LonelyGirl15 than Jessica Rose. They are two characters that have two forums devoted to them, false myspaces and false responses. He may be sensitive to that which I get but it is very very understandable why someone would prefer the character they have followed rather than the actor. Interesting use of the term, 'made it.'

Well, I guess he 'made it' within the culture that surrounds the LG and IMS as you say.
But it is possibly that he really *made it.* As in made the whole thing along with Bree.
He is still far from a house-hold name though, so he hasn't made it else where.
I guess I just found the words ineteresting...

He is still far from a house-hold name though, so he hasn't made it else where. I understand that point, and indeed he's not "there" yet, but basing fame on whether they are a household name or not isn't really the wy to go. Out of all the people in the world who qualify as famous, maybe 1% of them are actual household names with pretty universal recognition. I bet most actors on most huge tv shows right now don't qualify as "household" names even. The way to better look at it is how Yousef is very well known within his sphere (youtube and some extremities which relate to it), but that's not a large sphere in the scheme of things. People have "made it" when their spheres of influence and being known gets bigger, but household name is a whole other matter.

Since Bree/Jessica was the break-out star of YouTube last summer almost everything DanielBeast/Yousef does is inevitably in her long shadow. Yousef will never be able to live down his second banana status.
Jackson, on the other hand, is the third wheel who could easily distance himself from his Jonas character if Hollywood came a-calling and establish his own independent success. We can all sense his inner aloofness in tandem with his polite exterior amongst the hoi polloi in SF.
Yousef was obviously having an excellent time getting recognized, chatted up and invited to parties afterward. If Jessica had been there, there is no doubt she would have been mobbed as the one true royal at the gathering. Yousef would have had a hard time getting arrested.
He obviously knows the score, as does Jackson.
