Just noticed that Jessica's IMDB page lists her as cast in a TV series called "Greek" for 2007. www.imdb.com/title/tt0976014/Description: "A geeky college freshman decides to join a fraternity." Has this been noticed before? EDITED TO ADD:Wikipedia says:"With the announcement of the second season of ABC Family's Lincoln Heights they unveiled a new original TV series Greek. There is little known about this new series, except that ABC Family has ordered 10 episodes, and that it follows the story of a guy named Rusty, (played by Jacob Zachar) a college freshman who as a previous high school geek, wants to have fun in college. He wants to join a fraternity, but his sister Casey (played by Spencer Grammer) doesn't want him to interfere with her current enjoyment of Greek life." TV.com article says:ABC Family OK for Greek life March 1, 2007 at 09:39:00 AM The network orders new show while renewing dependable Heights. ABC Family has given a series order to the college-set drama Greek, and has renewed Lincoln Heights for a second season. The cable network has made an initial order of nine one-hour episodes, plus the pilot, of Greek, a drama that focuses on college life and the Greek system as told from the point of view of freshman Rusty (Jacob Zachar). A geek in high school, Rusty is determined to make college more exciting and decides to join a fraternity, but he faces an obstacle in the form of his sister, Casey (Spencer Grammer), a sorority member who doesn't want him to become part of her college world. .... SECOND EDIT:Another article says the show "is set to premiere this summer."

Well this has the potential to be an extremely annoying show.

"but i want to come on another wek k???"
Well if that isn't a sign that Bree is all but off the show (save the occassional guest appearance) then I don't know what is.

She might have been referring to his Nowlive show. That's why she'd say she wanted to come "another week", bc the show is weekly.

Oo oo oo good thinking owen, yeah that explanation makes a lot more sense. I mean sure these episodes are made a few weeks ahead of time, but not THAT much ahead of time that they'd already be rid of her and everything heh.

Just finished watching the free epi of Greek on iTunes. Jess was uber adorable with an airy, blonde line. The show wasn't particularly wonderful but it was nice to see a familiar face!

I don't usually comment in these threads. I don't feel right bringing my cynical self into it but this is so transparent it is killing me. That cutesy little message JR left on Yousefs page is a classic "blow off"... and that "sawwwwwwy" is so full of splenda (ARTIFICIAL sugar) it makes me sick.
It really translates like this :
"I'm filming 'Greek' this Wednesday so I can't come to the show..." I have a sitcom in development now and you have a dopey internet radio show. My career is taking off and Lindsey showed me all the ropes. I really can not be bothered with you or your silly little life
Sorry I didn't call you back I really don't have even 5 minutes to take out of my schedule for you even though you put up with all my whining for all this time and I could have used a cell phone or even taped the conversation at a more convenient time for replay on your internet thingy.
I forgot!!! You really should know by now that I have no interest in continuing my relationship with any of you people. I forgot; actually I wish I could forget that whole LG15 gig
"Sawwwwwwy" Don't forget how very cute I am and that I can pretty much do whatever I want and get away with it by saying I am sorry in that really cute way and making that face with the sad eyes and down turned mouth - I learned how to use that to manipulate the situation way back in Middle School and it still works great! I'll probably keep using it until I am 40 and it just becomes pathetic.
"but I want to come on another week" That's right you still have a chance. It's about a billion to one but it's enough to keep you lapping at my feet or saying anything bad about me to the press as I become more famous. Yeah I'd like to come on another week...maybe the week bats are flying out of my ass would be a good time
I'm sorry if this comes as shock but if it doesn't then A) You have NEVER been manipulated by the popular, pretty girl or B) You are still being manipulated shamelessly by the pretty, popular girl or you are certainly willing to be
It's sad. I mean really sad. It's obnoxious and so cliche it makes me sad

Yeah I'd like to come on another week...maybe the week bats are flying out of my ass would be a good time absolute favorite line. hands down. you are dead on about the popular girl manipulation thing, but also keep in mind it's an every-girl thing to say "We totally have to get together some time." "I know, I haven't seen you in, like, forever." "K. give me a call sometime, and we'll set something up." "coolie. laters!!" this translates to "I like you, but not enough to make an effort. However, I'm not ready to sever ties, so lets just keep making empty promises, k?" "sounds good to me."

Whoa Slainte that was pretty brutal... BUT.
Maybe you have broken the Bree Barrier. Heretofore JR has pretty much been given a free pass by most, including me. Let's face it, JR is NOT the character of the early vids. There has not been any real evidence to support her not being what we want her to Bree, but I think it may be time to at least examine the (our) illusion... I think there probably is a lot of JR in those early vids, but Tinseltown is not exactly a character building locale. Who knows what this roller-coaster has done to her?
I'm not calling her out for bad behavior, maybe questioning our own gullibility to be captivated by a talented actor.
Back to work.

Yikes Milo, I hope I didn't come across as harsh as he did! I guess, I was more exploring the idea that I had of JR being very much like Bree, and said idea being idealistic and naive.
Of course she has career expectations, etc. I think it wold be almost impossible to go through the Tinseltown ringer and have your personal and professional integrity survive.

well, i was thinking more of slainte really. i choose to ignore all the evidence that JR and Original Bree have little in common.

ok - I am a little confused. Not unusual I suppose. I don't think I was being any more brutal than the situation called for. I was, in fact translating "from between the lines" and you will find there are very few members on my "friends list"; a sad but true representation of my social skills. You'll find Youseff there but you wont find JR. I think Yuoseff is a pretty cool guy and I think his character is probably a lot closer to the real guy than is Bree and JR. I'm not judging. I'm not trying to be "brutal". It is just what it is. I am reading between the lines and that's what I see. Unfortunately I do not think Bree/JR is any different from most girls in possession the gifts she has. I think Hooked's comment adds a little credibility to my analysis although she probably doesn't want to be counted as being on "my side". This is no place for an autobiography so I'll spare you my history. My post is based on my own life experience. Not just mine but on those I have observed or otherwise been privy to. It has left me a little jaded I suppose but I'm just calling them as I see them. I hope I'm wrong. I guess that's why I always end up in the way I do. I hope this wasn't too confusing. I hope at least it touched on some of the comments Milo and CG made. I hope LLP doesn't see this post and interpret is as a death threat of some kind. (she is certifiable!) My AC doesn't work and it is just about 103 with 80% humidity (D.C. in the summer - gotta love t!) so I spent as much time in an Air Conditioned pub as I dared before coming home. P.S. If I ever hear a girl over 9 say "coolie. laters!!" I think I may just have to pack in all in and become a hermit contemplating the de-evolution of man.
