Miles said on this show, unambiguously "we're not making any money." Meaning profit. The credit cards may be maxed out, but the other part of the equation, that they are "draining their savings accounts" could go on for a long time since we don't know how much money they had saved. And it sounds like they have the support of family and friends. While they cited the lack of funds as the source of the most stress, they certainly didn't sound desperate and rather still seem confident the show will run indefinitely. Even after Bree's story ends, Greg said they will tell other stories using the same mythology of Teenagers vs. the Order.

.... Even after Bree's story ends, Greg said they will tell other stories using the same mythology of Teenagers vs. the Order. Breeality check: Lightning won't strike twice here. They were extremely lucky to hit YouTube at the right time with LG15. Naivete was rampant and Bree was preternaturally charismatic by internet standards. Given how played-out the story's getting, people will stay away in droves from future Creators' projects unless Lindsay Lohan herself signs on. Let's face it: lonelygirl15 is a one-off series whose sell-by date is rapidly approaching. All of the Creators are well trained to do professional careers and should face their post-LG15 fates realistically.

As you said stan, there won't be another lg15, let alone produced by then, and furthermore they have lost so much valuable time. They haven't done a thing, no website upgrades which have been promised since the beginning of time, and so many other missed opportunities. I was just thinking will they EVER do a chat again? The last one was huge and brought in a lot of people. LG could really use some, any shot in the arm, not to mention it'd be interesting to see how many (fewer) people come than last time. They of course need to do those upgrades first, and I don't think a thing has changed since the end of November. There have been so many tactical mistakes it's ridiculous.

One thing that stands out for me from the show is how much these guys really like each other. There is genujine affection and respect ....and given how different each one of them is .... lawyer, med/techhie, auteur, that's something of an achievement in Hollywoodland.....I have heard that the think of themselves, including the actors and supporting cast members, as a family. And I think that came across here........

And I think that came across here........ They do seem to get along, which is always good for creativity. So many bands put out crappy albums when they cease to get along. That they are also different is also apparent, e.g., a silly example, Mesh did not know what a "meep" was :-) and greg was meeping all over the place. And no wonder they should think of themselves as a family. I mean, the fathers of all three creators were call-in guests, as well as greg's sister lisa!

--- are they turning a profit yet? The last reportage on this is months old. They admitted they are still making next to nothing on it. I think they are still holding out for future revenue sources (maybe youtube's plan?), but for now the banner ads and revvernue is not a lot. Where can I listen to the full show? click "rebroadcast" at this link to hear the show: www.nowinla.com/channel_preview.asp?id=2785 Is it still available? I canna find it! Ignore that, I 'ave it.
