OK why isn't there a blog dedicated to the latest news, happenings, and theories in the lonelygirl15 world? I searched and I found these two: Is LonelyGirl15 Real?Lonelygirl15 MediaBut they both haven't been updated in months . Now am I just being stupid and there's already some big blog that I've missed... in which case can someone point it out and I probably sound like a n00b. Or has nobody thought about doing this idea yet because it's so damn obvious... Imagine how much traffic a lonelygirl15 news source would get!!! You could earn quite a bit of money from ads! Someone please tell me there's already a blog covering LG15, because if there isn't I'm going to have to start one myself. In that case, who wants to help me??? I need to find writers, web designers, and anyone else who wants to help contribute news or just help out with things...

Imparfait Icaterus, possibly you would be interested in integrating your material into the new Cove? We're still working up the structure, but we do want to have indepth material on the various shows.

Well if this site is adding new features then I'm totally keen to get involved as well ;D. Is there anything I can do to help? I think there defiantly needs to be a blog that covers the latest news from LG15 and IMS stuff. And it needs to be started fast because right now there's no other site like that anywhere, all the blogs focus on the business deals and the start ups of new video sites. You guys do really need to get your asses into gear lol. Any idea of when the new cove is going to happen? And your blog looks helpful milowent, I'm subscribed now

I was thinking, sorry to double post... Anchor Cove doesn't earn money from the ads on this forum right? Doesn't ProBoards run the ads?? Or am I wrong.. To get a big site you need to earn money because then people will put in a larger effort. I just want to be involved, I'm not looking to get paid or anything - I'll help out for free . I think IMS is the future of entertainment and I would love to get started now when everything is just at the beginning. I only work part time, and I pretty much spend the rest of my day on the internet lol. I'm willing to help build anchor cove if you need me... ;D

Edit: However, I am willing to help out with the new cove and stuff too. I'm not too bad at webpage coding and I love to make graphics. -shrugs- And I've been watching LG15 for a long time... If not, that's fine. But I'm dedicated and whatnot, and don't care for pay, so I thought I'd offer.

Well, the new site is going to be based off of Joomla. So once you sign up you will be able to submit any articles you want (anything from episode summarys, to weekly recaps, to detailed anaysis or zany theories). I hope that everyone from Anchor Cove joins us when we move over shortly and you all help write for the site. It wouldn't be Anchor Cove if we didn't included everyone's unique insight.

Oh hey Imparfaite so that's what that was about, I get it now Anyway... So is there going to be like a blog style section that will cover the latest news of LG15, and other IMS stuff? If there isn't I think it would be an incredibly good idea to have one.. At the moment there isn't anyone else out there running a blog that covers this kind of stuff about IMS. If you start one now it will attract 100% of the traffic. I think it's a good idea because web video and IMS is most likely going to fully take off very soon, so if we start a news blog right now at the beginning then by hopefully next year it will be the no 1 site for the niche. I honestly don't think that articles are going to generate enough people's interest to produce a popular site. There needs to be a news blog covering IMS. So I really intensely think it'll be a good idea to add one if you aren't already . And I'm really keen to get involved..

Maybe it is just semantics, but what is the difference between a blog entry and an article?

Yea lol you're right, they are kind of similar. I think I mean more the way the homepage works. You know how at the moment the anchor cove homepage has a link to the library section and then I assume the articles will be filled there. But a blog has all the posts on the home page and the page keeps getting updated with the latest one, like how the news is at the moment on the anchor cove home page. I think the content of blog posts and articles tend to be similar. But blogs also include news posts as well, mostly because everything on a blog is filled by the publish date. And then a big part of blogs is the RSS feeds and being able to comment on each post. ...yea something like that. I don't think you guys seem that keen on my idea

Actually that is just the way I am setting up the new site. PM me and I will give you the url for our staging server. Sadly it is kind of slow going right now, but hopefully we can go live shortly next year.
We aren't going to having commenting on posts directly, since there will be a new forum as well. I don't like the idea of having two different places for discussions. It seems more intuitive to keep it all in one place. But we do plan to integrate the forum and the blog/articles so there will be a place to discuss them.

I just looked at the Anchor Cove home page and isn't there already a Joomla news thing there, plus you have got a thriving forum here to make comments. I'm not necessarily criticising your decision to set something new up, but it seems like you could use or modify what you have here quite easily rather than try to reinvent the wheel unless there is something I don't understand.
