Why did I make this? I have no idea. The line charts the population growth of the original forum (based on google cache of old board registration information). I've sprinkled in the key events in the LG15-sleuthing saga (forgive me for those I've forgotten - this can be updated). So, where even are we?

Great timeline! The only thing I can immediately think to add are the news articles. These articles seemed to confirm everytime something correct was hit upon.

So there were 300 users that *could* have transferred over here. That means there are about 900 members that weren't on the old board, not that that tells us anything. How many members on the offical forum now?

Those numbers are misleading. The official forum does not require registration ours does. So many people registered here that are only lurking over there.
I have a feeling their active user figures (including non-registered) are larger than ours. Registered members is a poor metric to gauge activity.
The only way to tell would be to look at maybe unique visitor figures from eihter Alexa or Nielsen (if both sites were tagged).

Good point. Do you have access to information about how many users have posted on this forum, and then how many have posted over say 50 posts. I would imagine that the offical forum has had a new influx of members due to the media storm over the last few days. I am guessing there is no longer a link to this forum from there, even if there is this forum is not needed by newer members as the new old forum is now organised and has enough members to engage in discussion.
