I read about her on this celebrity gossip blog site thing that I read when I'm bored. No one there cared, but the whole drama about her being fake and the Crowley connection got me interested. Now I'm here, le sigh, spending my downtime stuck in the mystery that is lg15 and danielbeast. Haha, I posted that. For no one caring, it sure got a lot of attention. And then it got deleted. Now she's on the front page of the LA Times for Entertainment News so the people at ONTD saying she's not important or won't get anywhere with this are even more annoying to me. ------------------------------------- I first watched her videos when I was looking at the most subscribed users list. She was #4 at that time, behind Brookers, Smosh, and geriatric1927.

On www.jayisgames.com, there is a review for a pseudo-ARG developed by Peter Greenaway, called The Tulse Luper Journey. In googling to find hints for Tulse Luper, I stumbled upon a blog for Alternate Reality Games. One of the contributors there posted about Lonelygirl15 -- so I came in only recently, already knowing that the videos were almost certainly hoaxes.

There was a featured video song about 6 weeks back called something like "Lonelygirl is better than Lazydork" or something like that. I am new to YT so this was pretty much one of the first videos I looked at since it was first featured. I looked up who Lazydork and Lonelygirl were and got totally engrossed in Lonelygirl. I've already forgotten who/what Lazydork was...

The first Lonelygirl video I watched was "My parents suck..." At the time, I was very into Morbeck's videos and I was just starting to understand what YouTube was all about. I saw the LG15 video and the top of "Most Discussed" and checked it out. I've been watching her videos ever since.
I mean, it's been a long time! Since July 4th weekend! That's like... 2 whole months!

Thanks to the ONTD post. I was sucked in, and then when I went back to find said post, they'd already taken it down.
Hook line and sinker I say.

I first heard about LG from lazydork's videos. I like his stuff better, but I still like the whole LG thing.

I read about her in a celebrity gossip site as well, followed a link to the NYT article, googled her screen name and the rest is history
I was bored and I always wanted to be an investagtor!

i was already hooked to youtube for a while and was always checking the "most discussed" (because the comments are more entertaining that the videos most of the time, especially with vlogs). her "dorkyness prevails" was on the first page one day and the rest is history.

She always seemed to be in the top most watched videos of the day during the summer, but I didn't think anything of her. I watched a few just because they were so popular. I didn't get involved in the mystery until the rumors of the hoax broke a few days ago, and after it was confirmed I was hooked.

Been using YouTube for over a year, but only ever doing direct searches for vids I was looking for (unreleased Pink Floyd videos mostly).
Joined a couple weeks back to be able to watch an age-limited Japanese video of mostly-naked Japanese guys getting dumped into the snow on a prank show.
Clicked on "most watched" vids.
Saw a cute girl talking about Pluto, a subject I'd become obsessed with over the past month's deliberations.
Hook, line and sinker.

My friend Jayson watched it, sent me the link, asking me if I thought if it was real. (His theory was Daniel was a film student using Bree to do some sort of project) I watched and got hooked.
