www.lonelygirl15.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10252Hey everyone, As our amazing Lg15 journalist/blogger modelmotion already pointed out, we have entered into a relationship with AmieStreet. AmieStreet is a very cool and innovative music sharing website. Artists who upload their music to AmieStreet may have the opportunity for their songs to be in our videos :-) We have built a landing page that will feature all the amiestreet songs in our videos. Please check it out - www.amiestreet.com/lonelygirl15If you find songs on AmieStreet that you like and think would fit well in our videos, send a PM to The Creators with the name of the artist and song and we will try to use it in a video!!! Thanks everyone! Greg --- here is modelmotion's post breaking the news from the lg15today blog: lg15today.blogspot.com/2007/05/lonelygirl15-soundtrack-will-use-amie.html

Fascinating pricing and artist payment plan. The songs start free and rise in price as downloads increase (incrementally up to 98 cents). The artist are paid 70% of money made from downloads after recouping 5 dollars worth of bandwidth and storage costs for each song. More here. It's just confusing enough to make me think it works, but too confusing for me to trust it completely. Do you think the lg deal has something to do with the c's wanting to pay zero dollars for music licensing?
