nobody else has anything to say about this vid?
is ben psychic? he just kind of got a look. not like a "that's so raven" look, but something. maybe constipation. I wonder if the first statement he made was unintentionally prophetic. More than the freaky nikki thing, I'm way curious about ben.

Famous blogger Milowent suggested that we need to create a pool where we predict what's going to happen in Prom Queen.
The main purpose of this pool, however, is to prevent people from saying -- after the show is over -- "That was so predictable." Only someone who participates in the pool and actually predicts what will happen is allowed to say "That was so predictable." People always claim things are predictable after the fact, but that's not going to fly on the Prom Queen boards!

nice jay, for remembering that. i guess we need to predict (1) who will be prom queen (and thus killed, unless you think the prom queen doesn't get killed, (2) who kills the prom queen, and (3) why josh has teeth in the silver case. let's start a new thread for it?

oh, and really GOOD episode tonight.

Famous blogger Milowent suggested that we need to create a pool where we predict what's going to happen in Prom Queen. Famous blogger Milowent supported OIC's motion to create said pool. ;D I hope they don't pull a SH7F and leave us in the dark about who did it. If that happens, I get to say "That was so predictable!". ETA: Now, about this episode... so it was well done, except for that line about "that is soooo an urban myth". Chain letters are not urban myths. Chain letters are superstitions, urban myths not necessarily. I guess they're related, but I still wouldn't call a chain letter an urban myth. Oh well, maybe the writers figured that's why a high school kid would say. Anyway, that was a good episode. I was "zomg o noz". Maybe Chad won't be going pro after all. I have mixed feelings about the characters' actions though 1) Nikki = psychob*tch, but we knew that already 2) Chad definitely knew she was psycho, so you'd think he'd be smart enough to break up with her in a public place or something. The least he could have done was stop the car when she wanted to get off; they were just in a neighborhood street. She can call her chauffeur to pick her up. 3) I reiterate, "zomg psychob*tch". I get that she's upset that her bf of two years is dumping her, but wth? I would have let a temper tantrum slide, especially if she thought he was cheating on her, but what--the--hell? If Nikki didn't die, her odds of becoming a killer (though maybe not the original textmessaging person) have increased. She's capable of attempting to murder anyone she thought was the "other girl" (e.g. Chad's new prom date... if he's not dead).

Now, about this episode... so it was well done, except for that line about "that is soooo an urban myth". Chain letters are not urban myths. i agree the reference to "urban myth" was misplaced, but i can't think of a more apt shorthand for that video comment phenomenon. i LOVED that they referenced this bizarre form of comment spam.

With Nikki out of the picture I think it's safe to say that Sadie is going to try to get a little, shall we say, "unprofessional" with the subject of her current assignment. I'm calling that one! And I'm also calling that Curtis gets jealous and calls her a "sell-out."

Yeah, but that clothing website almost said as much. I'm so bad at making predictions, so I'll ruminate on it a while and post when I come up with something.

I'm just catching up with a few episodes I missed. This one was really well done... *Round of applause.* Creative and poignant. I loved the reference to comment spam. Even if it is more of a superstition, that was a great reference. I guess it could kind of be a new urban legend, as they talk about certain people dying in those posts... I dunno. It doesn't matter anyway. That part, the way they filmed the break-up, with the music building and flashing to the card game... I loved it. And what have we learnt from this episode? Don't break up with anyone whilst driving. I think that is a fine-worthy offense - right up there with drink-driving!
