Argh my freakin' ears! How funny is that little girl in the audience who starts crying? Haha! We had a girl like this guy in Australian Idol a few years ago, and she made it into the top 13 (yeah there were 13 that year, lol) and came about 10th. Here is a funny but (very, very, very)annoying clip of her singing. Believe it or not she did not get voted out after this. www.youtube.com/watch?v=VfjPwycS4u0There is still hope for those who can't sing though. This guy could go on to release songs. This Aussie girl did. The song was crap, and very synthesised, but she still did it. And once again - Ow! My freakin' ears!

SNL already parodied this guy (watch it after you watch the link i posted above ): idol-mania.com/american-idol-fan/2007/03/26/snl-spoof-sanjaya-malakar-video/------- ouch, that aussie girl was bad, too. i saw her song "ti amo" on youtube and many people are defending her. the main thing that annoys me about american idol is that it vaults singing ability way over whether the music they sing is any good. i know that's what the show is about, but that's why i hate most american pop music.

That SNL skit was funny. I love the way they even included the crying people! ****** As for the Aussie girl: there was even a big scandal here with all these allegations that her father who is an employee at our main telephone company, Telstra, had tampered with the voting. It turned out not to be true..... but I'm still not sure! lol ****** The following video shows you how easy it is to create a pop-star. I found it eye-opening as to just how much they can alter things! emuse.ebaumsworld.com/video/watch/6666

i know everyone is dying to know that sanjaya is still around. He's now one of the final 7 contestants. www.roanoke.com/entertainment/wb/xp-112857"... I now interrupt my tangent for a special report on the Sanjaya reign of terror. During Tuesday's performance show, the hair-raising boy wonder went last, in a spot usually reserved for, um, the good singers. Whatever. "Idol" producers always exploit the contestants that get them the most headlines. Or maybe they truly believed in his rendition of "Besame Mucho," which, admittedly, was one of the more memorable performances of the night. Putting aside his dreadful Wham!-meets-"Miami Vice" look, Sanjaya scored points for singing on key and, as a bonus, in Spanish. Do I have respect for his tactics? Yes. Do I still want him gone from my life forever? Without question. Now, back to my regularly scheduled rant ..." === celeb.com explores sanjaya's myspace? WTF? www.youtube.com/watch?v=YXnbB68e8GU
