Can anyone summarize it in a paragraph? Like ... Op was part of the Order and he left and he took Tach with him. They contacted LG peeps to help them, etc etc (and I might have that stuff wrong just using it as an example)

Ok, here is my attempt at a short character based recap, it will likely contain many simplifications and perhaps a few falsehoods as I haven’t watch all the videos. It is not complete nor does it try to be, I think it is just enough to be able to watch and enjoy the videos.

OpAphid – Is a special Ops division of some large group, could be the Order, but is likely something different now because of copyright issues. Confusingly OpAphid is also an individual, the woman talking, but likely not the one seen in the videos. Based on the Missed Me? video (her most recent) the individual or perhaps the entire group has left the larger organization. OpAhid is also an acronym which breaks down as the following:

Op – Operation
A – Analysis
P – Protect
H – Hinder
I – Infiltrate
D – Destroy

Those give you a pretty good sense of what Op is all about.

Tachyon – Is Ops enemy, she infiltrated OpAphid and stole a bunch of confidential information. She is a spy who works for a secret organization known as The Family, The Bureau, The Ring or just Mom and Dad.

Brother\10033 – is Tachyon’s partner, he regularly acts like a buffoon. He has a past with Gemma but that is likely all retconned now so it won’t matter. When he lived in London War Pylol, an OpAphid agent, tried to kill him.

Adam Wilmott – Not to be confused with Adam Lamar the big guy in the Maddy II videos. He was Maddison’s friend and went along with her on her adventure to the very end.

Maddison Atkins – was/is a 19 year old college student who started getting mysterious messages via carrier pigeon. These were sent by someone called Mr. Zipp who describes himself as a "worried parent with certain people watching my every move who impose severe restrictions on my interactions with my only child" and asks for her help to "save my child's life." After some drops (which were very Dr Seuss themed) War Pylol posts a video showing Maddy’s location. So she flees to Joel Frady, Adam’s uncle’s cabin upon arrive Joel shoots them both. The end of Adam and Maddy...

Joel Frady - has no memory of killing them, but plead guilty due to the video evidence of him doing so and was placed in a mental institution, which he has since escaped and has been found shot dead.

Clara Stokes – is a film major whose thesis is about the death of Maddy, with the help of fans she has been trying to investigate just what happened to Maddy.

Adam Lamar – Is the college’s newspaper editor and has since joined up as Clara's sidekick in order to get a good story for the paper. He is made of awesome.

Linc – an ex-OpAphid agent who is now on the run from Op. He is something of a Rasputin surviving being shot at, drown, and even an explosion. When War Pylol posted the video showing Maddy’s location he tried to get to Texas in time to help, but wasn’t fast enough. He recently was told by the mysterious 15over15 that he has to protect Rachel. In doing so he has so far been chased by War Pylol, some dude with no face, and just recently he and Rachel have been kidnapped by OpAphid. His automated video responder sent out a request for help to Brother.

Yeah thanks guys. I'm trying to follow this but it is hard to, even though I was fairly involved with the first Maddy chapter all these new characters, and old characters coming back from the dead is a little hard to keep track of. I was mostly confused about Linc, but I think I understand most of it now. I am a bit confused about the past week, given the absences. Like, what exactly have Linc and Rachel been doing this week? Sorry, I know it's a silly question that I should know the answer to.

It's not a silly question, I think all of us who are following this are confused, the last we heard from Linc and Rachel they had been captured by Op. The ARG players contacted Brother to ask for help, he in response gave them a cryptic message hidden in the music mash-up puzzle, apparently a message meant for Tachyon. The puzzle was solved but then nothing happened as a result, at least not yet.

I think the absences are more due to OOG behind the scene issues, but I'm only guessing.
