youtube.com/watch?v=2PvMk4H0_0wSummaryTo My "Sister" The only reason he's asking me for help is because he doesn't know you're still alive. If you can find the time, there's much more to tell. 10033 PS. On the upside, I got a shoutout! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the first that we've heard from Brother since he killed(?} Gemma. With this video we have confirmation that Nikki B was entirely wrong when she said both OpAphid and Tachyon were dead, either that or they only died in the Breeniverse, but continue to live and prosper in the parallel Universe of Maddy. Maybe Bree herself will turn out to be still alive in this Universe ;D ETA There is a puzzle in this video, being worked on here, www.shanikosystems.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=157

I was a little disappointed with this video being that I'd already seen 95% of it before. After the fast paced start, this series is starting to drag its feet a little.
I would hazard to guess that everything that happened to Op and Tach while they were LG canon has been retconned to prevent copyright issues. They might allude to it, like how Rachel alluded to talking to Jonas, but I don't think it will be solid fact, or at the very least particularly important to this story.
I wonder if the usage of the OpAphid, Brother, and likely soon the Tachyon YouTube accounts will have much of an effect on viewership. Op and Tach have 5,000-6,000+ subscribers, that is more then many YouTube partners. I think at this point it is an invite only program, but hopefully someone notices them.

Yes I was a little disappointed too, but I don't think the ARG players are disappointed, there is a complex puzzle in this one, still in progress. I think it is the first puzzle from Glenn in the 15over15 series. I was only joking in my post above related to Nikki B, but I think the best way to look at it is as a fictional world that spit into two parallel fictional worlds never to be in contact again. Sort of like the "many worlds interpretation of quatum mechanics" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Many-worlds_interpretation_of_quantum_mechanics

It's probably too much to try to keep track of all the ARG elements of the story here, but anyway, Here is a repost from the MA forum ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tachyon updated her profile: youtube.com/user/TachyonQuote: To My "Brother" WTF? How many different parts are there in that thing? xoxox, T Sounds like she didn't much like the music mashup either. Edit to add Brother's response: youtube.com/user/10033Quote: To My "Sister" 46 songs total. Still have those headphones that you borrowed from me and never gave back? xoxox, 10033 46 songs... back to work I guess. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ If anyone missed the music mash up puzzle you can download it here, rapidshare.com/files/50428329/SETEC_ASTRONOMY.MP3or simply listen to it here, www.acidfingers.com/hosted/SETEC_ASTRONOMY.MP3The first step is to identify all the songs. ;D (all 46)

I have to say I am unfortunately starting to find this a bit difficult to follow without playing the game or solving the puzzles. I hope they do some more videos like the Clara one that explained a few things. I like those videos because they keep us non-players up-to-date, and I kind of like the way they talk about the fans solving puzzles et cetera, it makes it seem more real.
I don't mind if they retcon with the Op characters. I mean, what else are they going to do in this case? They can't have anything to do with LG anymore, but subtle hints alluding to it are kind of cool. The comment about 'Jonas' was hilarious, but there was not enough in it to over-step any copyright issues.

I am beginning to think this puzzle was a stalling tactic, it's been a week now and the ARG players are still stuck on this puzzle, it was almost impossible to identify all the 46 songs in the mash up and Tachyon replied to a couple of emails saying that she can't act without all the information, so here we sit. Until the new business plan is in place? I don't mind if they retcon with the Op characters I agree, I think the Op characters reappearing in MA is less problematic story wise than the disappearance of the Op characters was for LG15. ETAOops, I should of checked before I posted, the puzzle has been solved, Brother gave them a new mash up puzzle easier than the first, that gave clues to the identity of the missing songs of the first puzzle. The solution is here. www.shanikosystems.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=157&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

Here is the solution to the first mash-up, apparently if you read the song titles in order it is a message from Brother to Tachyon.

Holy crap! That is some song-list! The idea of a stalling tactic is an interesting one, Rob. Is there any reason they would want to stall, in-plot? Or do you think it could just be to buy themselves a little bit of extra time to further develop the story? If that's the case I don't think it's bad at all. It keeps the puzzle-solvers happy, and allows them more time to work on quality videos, unlike LG. I don't mind waiting for videos if they are quality productions.
I'm still baffled as to how anyone could work that out though!

Is there any reason they would want to stall, in-plot? My supposition was out of game, I was thinking that they might be looking for a way to present the series independent of LG15, but I'm just guessing.
