Yeah, absolutely, edit away... I just wanted something to get this thread started, as I think it's important. I don't really follow the whole blog thing, but if people want to add links to blogs that have done a good job following this, please do.

The thing puzzling me is that curiousGeorge posted a link to the same doctored photo on September 3, at 7:28 AM, in the "Bree, Lee Harvey Oswald, and the Lochness Monster" thread on the old board. And curiousGeorge didn't deflect praise when other posters gave him credit for doing the doctoring. So, did Brian Flemming just totally rip off curiousGeorge's work without giving him credit? Or is "curiousGeorge" just Flemming's handle? www.lonelygirl15.com/forum/read.php?2,2491 P.S. Can anyone tell me how to force the hotlink to include the comma and trailing digits? I think I put the above post in the wrong thread by accident. Also, I guess it would be cG taking credit for Flemming's work, since Flemming posted it on September 1.

A comment on LG15's MySpace page mentions an ABC News story about LonelyGirl15. Anyone see it?

I searched the ABC website and didn't come up with anything. Maybe it was a local ABC station...
ETA: Google found this:
ABC News: For the Latest Breaking News, Turn to World News 'World News' Webcast Lonelygirl15's YouTube channel has been watched almost 2 ... ABC News is not responsible for the content of external internet sites. ... i.abcnews.com/WNT/ - Similar pages - Note this
But, I can not find it anywhere on that website!

I found it. It's on ABC News' Webcast from a couple days ago with Charlie Gibson. I don't know how to link directly to it, but: abcnews.go.com/WNT/WebCast/If you go there, and then to September 4th, click on "Is Youtube Phenom The Real Deal?" -John www.sparksflyup.com

Assuming this is all real - With exposure like this is must be difficult for her parents and those that know her not to find out.
And I love the way he said 'phenomenon.'

Assuming this is all real - With exposure like this is must be difficult for her parents and those that know her not to find out. THAT'S what I've been saying. I mean, where do these people live? ON THE MOON? WHY has no one recognized her...? To even come forward and say she IS real or ISN'T...either way? (Assuming reality) If her parents are as overprotective as she makes them seem...would they be okay with her doing this? Wouldn't someone have seen her and gone, "Hey, isn't that Barb and Ken's daughter?"...and then said something to them? No, I don't think it's real...and this is the major reason at this point. I was never very good at analyzing people's "lighting". ;-)

That story was on the national news three days ago and still NO ONE has come forward to out her. How is that possible in an age when you can track down almost anyone? If she's in soCal, it really doesn't make sense. There are paparazzi all over the place there.

It is not surprising that no one that knows her in real life has seen these vlogs yet. She is not as big as or as well known in the world as we think she is. Let’s go with the best case scenario, each of her 8.5 million views are unique and thus 8.5 million people have seen her. Now compare this to the summed populations of the nations she says she has lived in (United States, England, Australia, New Zealand) which is around 375 million. Thus only 2.3% of the population could possible be aware of her videos.
