Haha at some point I posted that poem which CiW put on my page. It was a loooong time ago, I forget where and why exactly, but it is related to stupid drama. Kind of like what this series became, but I said it much earlier. Where is that now... Most likely I said it in connection to the dramatics that was Cassie. That'd explain why she was quoting me on it! EDIT: Ahh, here it is. Looks like "Cassie" is definitely a Cover! alissabrooke.proboards56.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=1159319462&page=2EDIT2: And no one ever changed the HyeMew lgpedia page, either, just like other allegedly changed pages!

EDIT2: And no one ever changed the HyeMew lgpedia page, either, just like other allegedly changed pages! no, it really was changed. i didn't make up that poem -- it was really on there, it looks likes "cassieiswatching"s edits are being deleted by the lgpedia crew?

Overall, I think most are pretty stumped by this new turn of events... I hope that Jay and other LGPedians can keep us apprised as to how this went down. Interesting and entertaining for me, but probably more of a pain in the ass for them... How "hard" is it to "hack" a YT account to allow someone to post a vid on that account? Or was it the "real" CIW at work ?

The PM of CiW was Miles Beckett? Did I miss something? *cue vacuous expression*
(Really cute blanket things in that, had to laugh)

I like the name "Cassieopedia"- as a take off of what must be a favorite constellation of the "stargirl".

I think we're all ready to move past the events of yesterday. I would have to agree. I don't think it was a big deal, either in the LG storyline, or in the real world. I think that CiW started out interesting and it got a lot of attention, but whoever the PM was didn't execute it properly, and it faded away in a rather disappointing way. Now it just seems like they jumped on the April Fools bandwagon in a hope to gain the attention back. Who knows if they have more of their ARG planned out or not, but I do think it is their way of telling us that their Cassie character is "still around". And if it was not the people who were behind CiW, then I think it's just one of those run of the mill cassholes. *Sigh* -- I wish it had more meaning... Anyway, having said that I don't think it was all that eventful, I do think that the creators of LG should take a few notes from CiW. For one, her creepiness never really got all that cheesy (I think the animation was a bit lame, and some of the things she "says" can be a bit funny/cheesy but they are not out of the realm of what you would expect from a teenage girl). If LG wants to make the order scary, they should look at the way CiW does this by not giving too much away, and by relating what she does to real-life events/places/objects/web pages etc. that all of us could have access to. I think you can do this without making it an "ARG". And I thought that they wanted to have more real interaction with viewers anyway. Also - we blew the cover of LG in their first 2-3 months of production. But we still don't know who CiW is, and I think that that says something.

Re: elixer's last line... There was so many more clues to go on with LG15 than CiW. There are no real people in CiW and only two episodes whcih take place in the real world. There's almost nothing to go on with CiW, no trademarks, no nothing. There really is no way to determine who is behind it with what we've got.

Yeah I know there is pretty much nothing to go on, but to me it just kind of adds to the mystery of CiW. I think that LG started out like that, being surrounded by both in-plot and out-of-plot mystery, and at times both types of mystery were blurred. I liked that about the pre-reveal episodes, and I'm kind of glad we don't know who CiW is. I guess that all I was getting at was that LG could have been more like this if they covered their tracks a bit better. And now even though we know who/what/where/how LG is, I would like to see the creators add a bit more multidimentional mystery into the series. I know they try too, for example we don't really know what the Order is, and the kids are always running and we don't know where they will go. But I'm getting bored with this. It's repetitive, and more of a tease than a mystery. In the beginning, like when Bree was learning "a secret language," they gave clues about it, which encouraged us to research it, in our own ways, in our own lives. CiW did that kind of thing throughout. Some of the stuff in her videos I found innappropriate and disturbing, and I'm not suggesting LG take this road at all, I would hate that. But I think that returning to a bit more of the old school stuff would breathe new life into this series. EDIT: I just wanted to add that the only thing we've really been encouraged to "research" in the last few episodes was that sour chewing gum! LOL!

This was a pretty crafty April Fool's day joke. I got excited because I had liked CiW. Perhaps so because I'm into scary movies and CiW kind of reminded me of one. Yeah, this prohibited me from being able to see the real issue (namely the video when CiW used a photo from an actual murder scene). It would've been interesting for another video. But once the creators debunked CiW being a part of the Creators team, I think whoever did CiW lost interest because the videos got weird after that and then stopped altogether. My theory is actually that the person behind CiW is either Nikki Bower or knows Nikki Bower. But I don't think that person knew the Creators per se. -shrug- Else that person has an excellent eye for areas around L.A. Which is entirely possible. On a smaller scale, I don't know that I'd be able to pick one park from another going by a teeny bit of footage. And we've got about 30ish parks. I'm sure the L.A. area has many, many more. Initially I was mad that there really was no video. But when I saw that it was an April Fool's joke, I just had to laugh. They got me. ETA: Wooo, someone gave me karma. Dunno if that was recent or before my mini-hiatus. XD

I distrust you Milo *narrow eyes*
I am a bit baffled as the phorumites say no video was ever put up, but a shot from that thing Miss Rose was in was in student days. Was a video put up? If so what was the content?

No video was put up as far as I understand it. Just an edited LGPedia page with the faux screenshot and then the faux link was circulating. And actually, the video that the screenshot was taken from is absolutely INCREDIBLE. I really loved it and Jess did a terrific job in it. (and who keeps giving me karma? lol, i got like 3 karmas in a day... which is peculiar since i primarily lurk... ) edit: make that 4 karma. -runs around giving random karma-
