There's an actual crime scene photo in the cassieiswatching video at 00:05. It's a pretty gross picture - the first image that comes up on a google image search for 'Manson Murders'.

That makes sense in connection with the Helter Skelter stuff too. It was a phrase Manson's followers used. This is all getting pretty intricate--and pretty freaky, too. |

My first observation was that pretty much immediately after this video went up (8 pm GMT +1) it already received the following YT honours: #45 - Most Discussed (Today) - People #78 - Top Rated (Today) #6 - Top Rated (Today) - People Which suggests they picked the time deliberately. Cassieiswatching apparently knows when YT resets their counters for the toplists, maximising its exposure. Or is there so little new content in the people category that this would shoot up with only 6 votes and 15 comments? EDIT: Or maybe not, thanks for clearing it up Terry. EDIT: According to YT commenter leeleeee the audio (reversed, slowed down) is: Yes, "This is a song Charles Manson stole from the Beatles. We're stealing it back.* I was here. Come and get it. They are never reset. Each video is eligable for the toplists of today for the first 48 hours after it is released. |

Vanilla, good eye on the metrics. I would not surprise me that someone is aware of the YT mechanics and knows when to post for max exposure.
If this is from the creators, then they have certainly ratcheted up the creepy level. Perhaps they will be letting Cassie post the more gnarly parts of the story.
As an aside, I was a small child when the Tate murders happened, but remember the media frenzy. It is kind of disturbing that someone would use pics of Sharon for an entertainment venture... That is indeed a real photo of the crime scene.
