After the parking lot ambush , I invited Daniel, Jonas, Sarah and Taylor to crash at my place. Taylor and I are looking into the documents that were dropped in the water. Daniel Jonas and Sarah have some personal issues that they need to work out. We need your help with the document, I'll post it in the phorum. - Spencer

So what was the purity bond all about then?

the purity bond was originally mentioned by bree in one of the comments on youtube last summer. it took on a little bit of life of its own, as those damn sleuthers tried to figure out what religion it was by searching for things like "purity bond."

interesting dynamic between spencer and taylor. he acts like a geeky teenager, and she is one.

I hate to sound like Lurker and recite chapter and verse, but "purity bond" was mentioned in at least one video "My Difficult Decision" when they were still playing up the creepy crowley stuff.


But this kind of cuts to the chase of how they are going to resolve the conflict in the story between the religious stuff, purity bonds, free will, ceremony, eternal song, HoO etc, and the Order's nefarious plans (what ever they are) that involve ribozymes. DNA, possibly the origin of life, and doesn't seem to have anything to do with religion at all.

this is true, that video came after much discussion of the youtube comment, IIRC. so, as you note, its not being completely raised out of the blue. And if you're Lurker, where is your Lord of the Rings analogy for this? :-)

I can't stand this crap anymore. I loved Jonas. I loved Sarah, and I even liked Taylor a little bit, but they just keep adding people and blah blah blah and we don't even SEE Bree anymore hardly ever and I'm so sick of this shit. I think I am going to puke.

well, in that case, take the words "i quit" and put them in jessica's mouth. i think she's gone, even if they still have some footage in the can to pull out at some point. it just doesn't make sense that she'd still be around due to how absent she is now. they don't even really talk about her. she's just a plot point: save bree.

I haven't watched yet but given the reaction here I'm not sure I want to. Are they seriously crashing at Spencer's house? What happened to that new house that Jonas rented? How can so many people have so much time to try and rescue someone who at this point doesn't really seem to need rescuing? At least Spencer has a job he's got to go to. For the rest there's no real obstacle in their path....they've got an endless supply of money and time.
