www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqJ-neNUZR0www.lonelygirl15.com/?p=254&play=1Summary: Hey everyone, we found some pretty crucial information regarding Julia and The Order, so I decided to post the video to Bree's account. - Daniel (more) ------------------------------- I almost threw up in a fit of laughter when I saw Daniel's nametag and the way they addressed it. The fifth wall has been breached! Jonas's hitting on not one but both the girls out of nowhere after totally and completely showing no interest in Bree for months was a little odd. The part with Taylor was rather funny, the part with Sarah disturbing (as if that should come as a surprise.) I liked the random banter towards the end. The epogen symbol just happening to show up in the birth file was a little... I don't know. I guess we learned something but I never got this whole epogen thing to begin with, it's just files flashing his fancy medical knowledge at us. The connection between epogen, its effects, and the Order have never been even hinted at nor do we have any real reason to think they would be connected in any way except that we know they are.

some attempt to tie a loose end or two together! "trait negative" -- clearly suggests julia was tested for whether she could be a ceremony girl. what the epogen has to do with that, who knows ... and julia is now known to be Julia Anderson. I know this is crazy speculation, but remember that one of the sets of initials on the Order report found in the mountain house was D.T.A., I think. ... and what does the "Z" stand for in "Miles Z. Beckett"?

Lots of discussion of D-Batteries on the phorum. Amybagofdonuts said: my own suggestion was that D-Batteries refers to Daniel Beast. Sarah is definitely putting the moves on him. But Jonas and Taylor better be a joke. --- and "Miles Z. Beckett" turns up some medical articles, like this one: www.medscape.com/viewarticle/472973

But Jonas and Taylor better be a joke. For real. I ship Jonas & random girl. Now, I AM in the Jonas is hot category, but poor Danielbeast deserves all the love from BreeSarahTaylor. I would offer myself up as random girl (for the sake of the story, you know) but- married. I don't think my husband believes in the cause enough to let me.

Another good one, I think the new blood may indeed be helping the writers get their act together. My guess is that they will monitor phorum posts for reactions to potential pairings and pursue the most popular options. Perhaps if they have enough actors around at any given time, they can stop writing around Jess' scheduling issues and this thing will start making some semblance of sense again. Hope springs eternal in monkey land.
I wouldn't mind if they do Phorum Based Pairings (sans Bree and DB!) as long as they start filling in more of all the absurd plot holes. I hope they have a big white-board (a la the bunker) and have listed all the pink herrings and major plot points. It's time to start knocking them off!
As for the batteries and sexual innuendos that Sarah has brought to the series, I would much prefer this kind of thing to senseless murder, torture, and child kidnapping. This thing has always been strongest when it mimics reality and kids this age are much more interested in sex than in silly cloak and dagger nonsense.

I can't say I liked this one unfortunately. It was way too unrealistic. Okay, I know what you are thinking - this is the king of unrealistic series - but I think it was a bit too Scooby Doo, even for Lonelygirl. I guess I don't mind the reference to Miles really... even though I think it is a bit egotistical of them. The epogen sign... come on! It's just so stupid that in the Breeniverse, like, half of the world's population is affiliated with the Order. And, could the print have been any bigger? Okay, dudes - we get it! Oh and trait negative? Way to write her out of the series guys... Up until this point I found Sarah and Taylor entertaining, but now I just feel that they are too one-dimensional. By this stage they should have been developed more as characters. The whole Dad thing was just thrown in there as an illusion I reckon! I mean apart from this interesting tid-bit; all we really have is that Taylor is a soccer-crazy, 15 year old girl who can conveniently hack into the most private and secured records (puh-lease). And Sarah, well what can I say; the sexual innuendos are beginning to just get on my nerves. They are too forced, too far-fetched. The pigs were funny, yes… but I don’t want to hear more things as stupid as this. Yes, sex is on the minds of most teens - if not all, but come on. Not every word out of their mouths is a corny, out of place smutty remark. The only thing that could redeem this in my mind would be that we find out Sarah is really more innocent than she lets on and that it was all bravado. That could be believable, but I don’t think they would have thought that far ahead. The way they have it, it's just too unrealistic. It's clumsy writing and it’s weak. Sorry to be blunt, but I really wanted to see things get better and I did have some hope in Taylor and Sarah. I don't know... Daniel's fall sums up this episode for me. ---- BTW guys, if I'm not around much for the next couple of days it's because my phone line, and thus my internet connection, has all but died. I'm waiting to have them fixed up.

If you've listened to Yousef and Reza's radio show, you will have noted that everything out of their mouths seems to be sexual innuendo and smut. I doubt 15-19 year olds would act more mature.
I was quite taken with this episode, but not because of the innuendo et. al. There actually was progress in the overall plot. The parts per ml. on the paper verifies the main concern of the Order deals with blood. The "trait negative" bit verifies it is testable and that Jules isn't IT. We can conclude, then, that Julia was used as bait; that Bree didn't sacrifice herself for Jules, but rather for the boys; that the trait is most likely to be genetic in aspect; and that (because of earlier Epogen references) it's most likely focus is one of the globin family.
I'd say that's a big step forward in filling in holes.

And I don't necessarily think it is so much the fault of the actress, but it's like the c's are going, 'Quick! Cue Sarah for some smutty remark or action!' The timing is off. Some things are exaggerated way too much, eg. Pigs. I don't need to say more! lol, It's like it's her only purpose. Everything she does is sexual - the blog, unzipping the jacket, the leg, the cherry, her dialogue. Even the most sexual people take breaks every now and again! I suppose it could be argued that she is a more balanced character but this is all we have seen of her thus far. But this is what I meant by it could be redeemed in my mind if this turned out to be all the character's own bravado. If there is more to her and it turns out that the sexual innuendo is exaggerated and with slightly off timing for an in-plot reason, that would make her a lot more interesting, i.e.. What is she trying to hide with it all? And yes, the plot holes are being slowly filled... to a degree. I still feel it's too little too late. I would like to see them use more realistic landfill! lol! I'm not talking realism here, I would just like for the plot progression to make sense in the sense of logic. Oh and by the way - welcome to the Cove, Susan!

I'd say that's a big step forward in filling in holes. The problem is that the holes are so deep , so wide, so absurd that they may not be able to write their write out of one problem without contradicting (or completely ignoring) other ones... This thing is so illogical that trying to right the ship is gonna be pretty darn hard. Not saying it can't be done, but the writer's attention to this level of detail so far has been pretty dismal. I AM encouraged though that they seemed to have stopped dropping more clues (aka the pink herrings) and are trying to resolve previous ones, to some extent. Even the most rabid phorumites are starting to demand some answers... Again, I assert that (even trite) sexual innuendo is preferable to senseless, and out of character, violence (which I am of the opinion was only written out of creative laziness and pathetic attempts to salvage sagging YT ratings...). If they can use Sarah and Taylor to salvage DB's and Bree's characters from the writer's incompetence with maintaining character consistency (or logical development), so much the better. Let someone else act like they are a different person every vid, just quit messing with those two. As for Joan, his character has been fairly consistent. Jackson, seems to stay in character fairly well and he may be the best actor in the bunch... Overall, I think the direction of the last few vids has been positive but there is still a lot of work to be done to salvage any sense of logic to the plot.

Even the most rabid phorumites are starting to demand some answers... I agree with your assessment of the problem. When I pointed out the homing pigeon dilemma in Madison Atkins, Jeromy responded with some irritation that instead of seeing it as a plot hole I should look at it as a clue. As regarding Madison Atkins that is a good point, but in regards LG15 I don't think the plot holes can be seen as legitimate clues, clues have to have something they are pointing to, and aid in finding answers. Instead I agree with you that they are rather "pink" herrings, what they were pointing to was not thought out in advance, and were added for the sole purpose of fuelling speculation on the forum. That trick isn't working anymore, lately there has been relatively little rabid speculation on the forum, even with the reappearance of the infinity symbol speculation has been muted. There was more discussion of vibrators than what the "clues" could mean. Tying all lose ends together in a satisfying way at this stage of the game seems a near impossible task.

HEY!!!! rob you actually gave me an idea for an interesting competition...who can tie up all the loose endes the best? The funniest? The dumbest (original authors not permitted tan entry in this one)? The wierdest etc etc...

That would be funny! Someone would have to make a list of all the loose ends needed to be tied up, just to make it a fair competition. Would they have to answer the question "what happened to Tachyon?" for example?
