Status: PUBLIC VIDEO ---- Milo Adds: Note that this a PRIVATE video from jonas. I assume this means Bree and Daniel cannot see it, so we get some honest commentary from Jonas. However, the illusion of privacy is broken slightly by the latest lg15 bulletin on youtube, which links to jonas' video and says: "Apparently, Jonas doesn't really agree with what we're trying to do...  " Not much to say, Jonas is being rational here. I'm rather surprised Julia wasn't able to find her way home. I mean, there seem to be homes and people around, just go to one of them ... ETA 11am ET Fri 5/11: Changed video title from Aiding and Abiding (what it was posted as) to Aiding and Abetting per Creators change. Also changed from PRIVATE video to PUBLIC video. mistakes per the creators.

If found this one quite enjoyable. At least Jonas answered some questions we have all had, about how he feels. The skating scene was a nice touch too.
I would have liked to have seen more of the main plot though. And it was lame that Jules didn't go and get help.

I wonder how much of the frustration we heard from Joan is really coming from the writer(s)? My guess is that they are sick of all the criticism (mostly deserved) and just want to get on with Kate Modern and start over again. At this point, I don't blame them.
I think this was Joan's best vlog to date. Who would have ever thought that he would be the voice of reason in all of this...

I agree CG (crap I have been doing WAY too much of that lately!) It would not be the first time the authors have sent out a message veiled in a characters monologue. If they are quitting and moving on I don't really blame them. I mean this IS the Internet and two weeks to a month after LG15 disappears all this work and criticism will be absorbed into the "ether". Maybe 6 months to a year from then someone will "rediscover it" or even more ironic (or is that moronic ?) someone - not knowing the LG15 saga - will say the new smash Internet hit "Kate-Modern" (HEY! Kate-Modern is the spelling the spell check gave it! hmmmm interesting!) is a rip-off of this "old classic". The spark of hope springs eternal,,,etc, etc. Maybe they could finish this thing off with a little class; perhaps a "shocking unexpected twist of an ending". That would be nice. Then I wouldn't even ask for my money back!  ETA: I have finally found the joy that comes from criticizing the episodes without even watching them! Wow I think Terryific - and some others - might be proud of my progress! |

Gi-awsh. Couldn't they just have gotten Daniel in the next video to say, "Well Jonas is a dumb arse who can't spell or use a computer for crap..." ---- BTW: 'Gi-awsh' means 'gosh' in Goofy speak. Just thought this post called for it.  Oh and, in case you were wondering, also this post is not part of the Breeniverse like lordgreystoke, marbella, itscassie, and iris2009. So you don't need to understand it in order to comprehend this whole thread. In fact, I'm not even sure I understand it myself...  Hmmm... maybe I should have made this post with a "private status." the next video should be from Daniel and/or Bree, being all "omg Jonas posted this video about how he doesn't agree with us. why doesn't he just say it to our face? like, he puts up this video complaining about us... and hey, it's gone. oh no he didn't. I'm gonna go punch him/tie him up now."
ETA: argh, no, it's worse than I thought. I should have been a private video, which is what it started out as, but now it's public. Thanks creators--JUST when I thought you were going to bother to use the PRIVATE feature for the FIRST time (and no, I'm not counting those Order videos because I'd rather pretend they NEVER existed).

Arghh... it made sense for Jonas to make this video private. Who Sees What Where Indeed! This thing just seems Sooooooo Simple to me and they continually screw up the POV context. I thought this vid really showcased how well the mock-vlog can be used for dramatic effect. While not in the Joan is Hawwwt camp, I thought it was effective and pretty entertaining. I hope we see one from DB like this next, a point-counterpoint vlog would work well I think... The c's attention to detail is really just abysmal at times though. |
