well, well, well. canons ablazing! bree has never mentioned nikki before, correct?  why jules can never replace bree. bree was especially likeable in this one, i thought.

No, I don't think Nikki has ever been mentioned in an official LG video before. I agree, Jules can never replace our Bree. And I don't want to see them try either.  I don't know... this video was a little strange. It was like too many references all in one! Including Pluto! lol ETA: Do you think the C's could have put her in as a plant? Like maybe she isn't really the real 'Other Girl', but that she is put in to make the series seem more interactive (with Bree being thrown onto the wrong trail)?.... I can be hopeful!  |

I can be hopeful! with all the "new girl" candidates popping up in the last day or so, i think its possible there may be more than one, and "we" have to decide who is the real new girl. |

I wonder if the myspace message means new girl is replacing Bree in a matter of weeks. That'd be harrowing.
EDIT: This episode would have at least ended nicely if it had cut off on the "or Pluto..." note. Just a moment of silence after that is all that would be needed, Bree could flash a knowing smile and then it'd end. That got messed up by more talking after though!

ahahaha the bunker doesn't have running water, but it has high-speed internet! The whiteboard was a hoot too! I want to like this series, I really do. But even poking fun at it isn't amusing. It's just too easy... I'm going to cry now that Bree mentioned Jules in the video. Even though she's "not sure" whether that's the ceremony girl, it still legitimizes her videos. I regret ever wasting my time and watching hers though. Come on, the c's couldn't even take the time to correctly script her multi-lingual introduction! Me nombre est Julia... wtf? Were they using BabelFish? For SHAME. I can only hope this is a brilliant parody of Bree and Gemma. She tried way to hard to be geeky "I just like to read so much.", and then related the dungeon in the Count of Monte Cristo to her feeling trapped in her home. Suddenly, Gemma comparing a bad date to being homeless fugitives of the Order doesn't seem so far out. I'd rather watch the airheaded soccer girl, at least she wasn't trying to be Bree. Has anyone watched her stuff? I can't be sure how she would go to public school and play soccer and stuff if she's a ceremony girl, but whatever, consistency is overrated, right creators? Oh, and on a brighter note, happy canon day, Nikki!  |

The mentioning of Nikki is so weird- the Creators NEVER fail to contradict themselves.
We discovered Nikki, Creators insist "SHE'S NOT CANON, SHE'S FANFIC SHE'S FANFIC".
We all say suuuuure Creators, but they insist on it.
Next thing we know... Bree: Did you guys SEE Nikki B's latest video?!

I don't think Jules would make a very appropriate candidate for "the new girl." She's too young, and this series has gotten too "old" to allow for her admission smoothly. The themes are too mature, and you're going to need another jail bait to fill bree's spot. Not a kid. I'm hoping they're discussing her as a way to nudge us to go find "her" ourselves on youtube. If newgirl IS jules, they need to tie her in directly witht he characters. I'm thinking: she's Jonas' sister (or has been "adopted" by Jonas' parents who are living in a state of brainwashed bliss courtesy of the order) , and Alex knew that, so her one-last-thing is to get her out before her ceremony. Anyway, here's hoping that Jules isn't the new girl. She's too green. edited to get rid of a long pointless rant, and to say that jess is awesome in this vid. also, a hilaroius comment from this vid: Ok, I give you the fact that she does act like a regular teenager (which was the hole point of being realistic on the show) and at times she’s even a better actrees that Bree. Seriously? better actress than bree? Man, I gotta get me to Hollywood. |

so is this how it ends ladies and gentlemen...The C's get a paying gig in England...Bree slides out the side door and Youseff tries to make this Internet radio gig work. Jonus? Maybe he gets a job reprising the role of Blackie Parish (old General Hospital character). Perhaps Daniel and Jonus join forces with Alex open a Private Eye Agency and fall into situations that allow them to fight the Order and saving young girls around the world. OR - and this really would be THE way to handle things... - The Fantastic Four (Alex and the the Mod Squad)stand together on the roof of "The Bunker" holding hands and staring into the night sky.
- Far away but approaching steadily is the Mother Ship flashing lights and doing whatever it is Mother Ships do.
- It nears the gang and opens its gaping maw. silhouetted by bright shafts of pink and lavender light stand Bree's Mom and Dad holding hands looking lovingly at their daughter.
- They rush to embrace.
- Another couple appear from the lights and Alex gasps, seeing her Mom, she bolts toward the gangway.
- Joan and Daniel both look up to the ship. The hope in their eyes is dashed when no one else seems to be coming.
- Bree and her folks, Alex and her Mom all look at each other and then down at Joan and Daniel.
- Bree's Dad looks at the boys and shakes his head solemnly.
- They all turn and enter the ship. The door closes, the ship rises into the sky and sails away into the night.
- Joan and Daniel watch for a very long time, a bittersweet look is on their faces and a tear forms in Joan's eye.
- They turn to each other embrace as two men would then pull away as if to end the embrace.
- Just as suddenly they kiss, a deep loving kiss that evolves into a major groping session that leads them both to fall on to the rooftop writhing in the rapture of it all.
- A BURST of rainbow light radiates from the mothership high in the sky and arcs across the horizon to form a rainbow unnaturally bright, bright as neon and filling the sky
The End - roll credits while the ship fades away; Joan and Daniel in the heat of passion form "Danus""the beast with two backs" Wow...I feel kinda hot! ============================================ "...and now for something completely different" ============================================ I meant to say something about this the other day when the"C's" finally made an announcement - something they have been promising for about 653 years now Way back in 2006-around the Holidays- there was a lot of talk among the "stakeholders" about vacations and leaving town. If you were in your "gotta Know everything about LG" phase of "fan ship" you may have looked closely at the various mySpace pages and other info outlets and noted that there was a lot of talk about vacationing in England and various parts of the "Commonwealth" for the Holidays. Youseff simply said he was going to England for the holidays (i t think it was to visit his Mom) Jessica's page (NOT Bree's!) had a lot of comments from friends before Christmas saying things like "can't wait to see you" etc., and afterwords there were a lot of messages about having seen her or missed her and coming to CA to visit etc, etc. Even Gemma's "real person" mySpace site (wow I can not remember her name. Damn! ...how fleeting fame is...but I sure do remember her face and especially her accent - smokin'!!!!) had similar references. Now the "C's" announce a new gig back in "Jolly old..." a paying gig. Coincidence? Wild imagination? I dunno, but it isn't any stranger than most other prognoses I've seen. |

Anyone else catch how very scripted 'Jules' was? It drove me nuts. It even seemed at times that she was reading from a cue card.
I'm sorry, but that girl is not a good actress.
