don't know about the title, but a decent video. "meridian lines"? -- longitude keeps coming back again, but i still have no idea why.

The new facts about Alex had better have an actual reason, and not have just been invented as a way to explain a complete character change (from "baddie" to "goodie" because the creators changed their minds). But other than that, I thought it was a pretty good video, it feels like we are back on track with the story and not just running away from it anymore. And I have no idea of how they are going to link geography with free will. ETA: Maybe meridian lines don't refer to longitude, but refer to the human body, like in Chinese medicine, where they see the body has having interconnected lines of flowing energy called meridian lines. I know they make references to cartography, but maybe this spin on meridian lines could offer a different way of thinking about it.

jonas said alex's mom was a new-ager. the meridian lines might not be referring to longitude, but rather the meridian lines that some people believe run thru the human body, based on ancient chinese medicine. it is believed that the body's energy runs thru these interconnected meridian lines, which is a concept that is fundamental to acupressure, acupuncture, etc. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meridian_%28Chinese_Medicine%29my comments on this video... meh. jonas looked kinda hawt. i'll be disappointed if alex isn't really evil. in general, i'm growing increasingly bored with this series.

Oh snap! i hope it doesn't mean that. otherwise, all the longitude stuff we've gotten so far remains a plot hole. i am sure "the hymn of one" was born as a creative idea very recently, so i would hope its going to fill in some plot holes, not create new ones! also, the prime meridian runs through england.

I dislike the "she was told what to say, she didn't even know what she was doing..." explanation for what was a pretty cool confrontation scene back awhile ago. I mean come on, she sure sounded like she knew what she was talking about, and I really don't think anyone can be sent into a conversation knowing nothing of what they were talking about and yet still be able to pull it off convincingly. Seems to be harkening back again to free will or lack thereof, and they wanted to make an arguement for Alex doing that beyond free will.

Haha I love the backstory to the Anchor Cove meridian FLWright! And yes if anyone has been to DC they might know the meridians come together and converge in one place underneath the Capitol rotunda! That area is called, I guess in sufficiently creepy-crowley fashion, "The Crypt", though no one is buried there (far as they tell us...!) There's a well-worn star on the floor where people flock to stand on and take pictures of themselves at, proof that drawing a bunch of lines through your city is kitsch enough to excite the tourists.

can meridians converge? i thought they were simply lines of longitude? The geographical meridians converge at the North and South poles. I suppose one could create such a convergence by an act of legislation. Tourist slogan " Visit the US Capitol, the warm North Pole!". <edit spelling>

Does anyone else think it was a bad idea to announce to the entire world (including the Order) that Alex was going to help them out? Anyone?! I think someone's about to lose her job in the fashion industry... this brings us back to the obvious question for the Creators "Why'd you invent Private videos if you weren't going to use them when you should?" These videos leave such a gaping big plot hole that I don't even know how to write it into the LGPedia plot holes article. The hole is in regards to how the Order tracks and finds TAAG. I tried to summarize it for this post but I can't. There's just so much to pull into it. There's no consistency to when they are being chased and when they are not. They can't be chased all the time or they would have been "caught" like 500 times already. Not even the "free will" filler gets them out of this one.

Yeah come to think of it I kind of just assumed it'd be private and am shocked to see it public. I don't understand why this would be publicized. I think a big plot hole is how the Watchers used to hang outside Bree's house and were completely benign. Even during the attack at Jonas's house, the watcher was supposed to be completely passive but too many writers spoiled that 'broth'. Now the Order has no problem, many months after their presumed Ceremony needed to be carried out, in attacking Bree & friends and doing whatever they want. If they are willing to be that brutal now, why not in the past? What has caused this change in tactics, and as you said why haven't they been captured 100 times by now?
I seriously think it'd be best to just make a clean break with this being on the run crap. Have they realized how OLD it's getting? And by getting I mean got a long time ago. It really doesn't make sense anymore either as we've point out, so really it'd just be better to find a way to end that entire drama and start a new one with a stronger foundation. Seeing as the Creators want a Star Wars mythology with the Order being the Empire, that's not going to happen. Though if those three original movies were all about Luke Skywalker running from the Empire at all times would it really have been that popular? No because it's a one trick show- run away, get caught, escape. That cycle has happened in a major fashion twice, with a lot of run away, almost get caught, escapes thrown in between. Soooooooooooo old.
You know, LG15 is beginning to be like Chinese water torture.
