well, I'd be a literery dunce too, then. I read this page first, and was thinking "No, silly, It's Blackbeard. But what does a pirate have to do with bree?" I think I'll shrink away quickly, so I can't hear and see all the pointing and laughing.

I didn't know the Bluebeard story either! Thanks for the recap noa, you are really good at those!
I think it would be too weird to have Jonas as a serial killer. Take the Order/Cult/Watcher plot and minimize it? And why are the watchers only watching Bree, if the Order has captured her parents, why wouldn't they snatch her too?
No one mentioned how Jonas tried to explain how he's lived in the big house for so long without being discovered by social services.... the "nanny". The caring "nanny" who left him high and dry the minute he turned 18!
I'm not really sure why they even attempted a virtual tour of the house?! When all the showed was hallway and doors?
And why didn't Jonas offer to wire them money if they felt uncomfortable going to his house? You can stay here, but if you don't .... well get off the street then.
Jonas was looking a little rough round the egdes in this one.

What's kind of boring is that there are really only two outcomes. It is assured that Bree is going to Jonas's, so either he'll turn out to be good or evil. I will not be surprised if he turns out to be either, they're both pretty blantant. If only they can come up with a third option that really surprises everyone, that'd be cool, but I highly doubt it.
If Jonas wasn't so insistent Bree come I'd assume the Creators mean for him to be good, but he wants her there to badly that it makes me think it won't make sense if he turns out ot be good. They both are equally probable though, and when all is resolved half the phorum fans will be saying "I KNEW IT" either way, whether he's good or bad. I hope they can find a third avenue to go down...

I'd like to see Jonas as not so starkly good or evil, too. Maybe he does the wrong thing for a good reason (turns them over to the order for the safe return of his parents), or the right thing for the wrong reasons (takes them in and gives them shelter so he can spy on them for the order)

Yeah I was thinking something like he's actually being held prisoner at the "mansion" which definitely doesn't appear to be inhabited based on the barreness of the hallway and unmansion-like qualities of it. An interesting twist would be something like he and his parents were Order members who began questioning it around the time Bree & parents did. The capturing of Bree's parents was a two part sting which started with capturing Jonas & parents and then they went for Bree & parents. Only Bree escaped. The Order got what they wanted from Jonas's parents, but in order to set them free he has to lure Bree there. If he does successfully, he and his parents go free (hence his almost begging in the latest episode for her to come). If he fails, well let's not think about what will happen. Perhaps Bree goes there, and spends a night, during which Jonas explains everything and pleads for her to escape. Bree says I'm not going without you and they with Daniel forge an exciting plot to free their parents and defeat the Order. I think that'd be pretty cool, in fact I am going to send this to them. It'd actually make sense and tie up a lot of the currently confusing points.

The only problem I have with that theory is that if the Order wanted Bree, they could have taken her a half a million times by now. She's a small girl. They have more than one person in the Order. Why would they have to lure her to anything?

Perhaps the Order members are like vampires... who need to be invited in to their victim's lair according to some. By their rules (because as it is a fake religion they can make whatever rules they want) it is illegal to kidnapp someone outright. However, once an Order member is invited into their home, or they accept the invitation into the home of an Order member, then they are allowed. We can presume Bree's parents had invited the Order members who kidnapped them in to talk about Bree's problems when they were kidnapped. Yes, I know it sounds stupid. But it's no stupider than, as lesbrent pointed out, the fact the Order has basically followed them around and have had numerous opportunities to kidnapp them and even though it appears the Order wants them. This arbitrary rule could explain the otherwise unexplainable fact that apprent Order members have been next to Bree and/or Daniel on numerous occasions and had even set guard outside their motel but never bothered to move in to finish the deal. Of course, if that is true, this means technically Bree would be safe at home as long as she never invited an Order member in, making this whole hiding thing unnecessay, but then again who wants to be permanently stalked, because presumably the Order would set up operations outside her house like at the motel. So maybe the rule is Order members do what they want like kidnapping within the houses of Order members only unless otherwise invited. This would both make Bree's house off-limits. I've spent way too much time trying to rationalize the irrational.

Maybe the Order is planning a surprise party for her, and that guy is just there to make sure she doesn't go home. Cause that'd ruin it. They need a lot of time for decorations. It's gonna be big..like P-diddy mansion party big. Right Jay? Yes. It's all p-diddy.

Well I had sent my first set of ideas to The Creators... perhaps they'll actually listen?:
From: The Creators To: HyeMew Posted: Thu Dec 07, 2006 12:00 am Subject: Re: Where to go now Cool, thanks for the ideas. A lot of them are very good. I think you'll be excited with where the plot is heading over the next weeks and months

Even during Bree and Daniel's darkest hours I've held out hope that Diddy will, eventually, surface in the storyline. I mean that reference to Cassie in the Swimming video had to be a Diddy reference. It had to!

I think you'll be excited with where the plot is heading over the next weeks and months I sure hope it will be exciting and enjoyable for the sake of my sanity. Four months of watching this series better not have been for nothing, I say. >.<
