I think we have to look at things like this as 'clues' and not mistakes. They know we know they're real now, so, I doubt they'd slip up on purpose.

so, if it's a plot clue- what could it possibly mean? Is there a common meaning behind the lion? I've read that a lion is a traditional symbol for Christ. If we look at the religion angle, it could hint that Daniel will be the one to pull her from the occult. Anything else tied to the lion (besides Gryffindor)? I don't know how Target or Mossimo could be a plot clue, though. Or, it could be a clue for the sleuths about their location/identity? It seemed alot more clue-like before we found out it's a Mossimo logo.

No, that's a Revver thing. Placing ads afterwards.
Is this turning into a Bree show now and no more Daniel? I thought he'd have a comment about Bree at the party ...

I think the reason we see lot's of thier merchandise is that is cheap and semi-fashionable. This fits well with the needs of a small video production company to use as props and wardrobe. It may be as simple as that... I think this is probably the best explanation. Especially when it comes to the pillows, the monkey, the turtle on the bed. But the emblem bugs me. I'm not willing to believe that it's a clue leading us to Target or Mossimo, but why the sloppy edit job? why? why? why? From the perspective of someone who knows little to nothing about making movies, I always thought that there production values were relatively high. So why in Pete's name make a sloppy mistake like that?

From the perspective of someone who knows little to nothing about making movies, I always thought that there production values were relatively high. So why in Pete's name make a sloppy mistake like that? I honestly think they did that just to mess with our heads and distract us from focusing on big questions like "who is Bree?" but it didn't work well enough, cause that came out this morning. edit: I changed my mind. It's my impression now from seeing interviews with the creators that they were not putting that much thought into something like this. I think it was just a mistake.
