I say the title and thought it was a joke.
I was like oh here's one more step in their steps of ridiculousness (I was half-jokingly expected hooking up here to mean sex, as it is used in the vernacular to mean just about anything) and that Bree suddenly decided to engage in some serious rough mourning sex.
I still dislike the title, it seems so blunt (and whatever happened to not kissing and telling? She'll see it eventually. But at least it just sounds like it was a kiss and not a make out session. I don't count what sounded like one kiss and hugging as "hooking up" but I guess this'll drive the phorum phangirls crazy.

"Walk of shame"? He said he was taking a walk of shame back to his room. Meaning he was shamed for what reason? For not getting some?
When the video was trying to start and it had the still from the very start of the video, to me, Daniel looked either high or like he just had some really awesome sex with three women in a Porsche.
-shrugs- Title aside, it was an okay video. It had a nice "aww" moment, though I found it all to be a little... rushed. Like 1-2 days ago, she was screaming at them to leave her alone and posting a video saying they wouldn't leave her alone and it was bugging her. And now she just randomly kisses Daniel after they spent hours chatting over a movie? It seems.... rushed.

Haha, I was watching tv with my boyfriend and I got an email on my sidekick to say this video was up. When I saw the title, I bolted upstairs and I was muttering to myself as the video was loading, praying it would be Daniel and not Jonas who made it. I finished watching it and was going 'yes! go team Daniel' when I noticed my boyfriend standing in the doorway looking very concerned.
I pretty much can't concentrate on the quality of the video or its place in recent LG history because I'm still just so content that she 'hooked up' with the beast and not the boy!

"Walk of shame"? He said he was taking a walk of shame back to his room. Meaning he was shamed for what reason? For not getting some? I think he is referring to the walk of shame, which I've heard used in a college environment quite a few times, but it doesn't exactly fit what happened to him. The walk of shame is when you get wasted at a party, pass out from drinking, and then wake up there the next morning all the way across campus. It's called the walk of shame because it's pretty obvious the person you see half-dressed up but looking a mess stumbling across campus at 9am is doing so because of their behavior the night before, and so it's pretty shameful to have to walk all the way across campus in broad daylight looking terrible. It hardly applies to merely falling asleep in Bree's room and walking down Jonas's extremely small for a mansion hallway the next morning. |

My first reaction, and one brought up repeatedly at the phorum, is that this is a ploy to try to get the Order off of their case by violating her Purity Bond. If so, this is at least reasonable given the alternative(s)... But then again, when was the last time that the plot made any sense...
Continuing in the vein of recent plot developments: notSex.
A lesser credible theory involves this just being a really (duh) stupid move by DB to post the vid and that Bree will react (duh) badly and not so fun hijinks will ensue.

Sorry Hye. You are showing your age. (or sheltered life). "Walk of Shame" is the one wearing last night's clothes on their way home after - yes geting wasted but - knockin' boots.
It's usually applied to the girl taking the walk in last nights "party clothes" heels and all

I simply cannot believe the title of this video.
It immediately reminded me of Wedding Crashers, where in one of the lowest moments of humor (not that I didn't chuckle), the lead character and a famous playa hit a funeral to pick up chicks, because women are apparently even easier to pick up at funerals than at weddings.
I think in real life Daniel would never post a video like this. Its just a limitation of the vlog format again. This is more like a "confessional" video that gets made on reality shows that none of the other participants can see until the show airs on TV, so that it doesn't effect the show's characters during filming.

Daniel sure was happy, wasn't he. Still PG 13. Maybe more realistic that the teens are making out?
And yes, walk of shame is typically applied to girls who "hooked up" with someone and have to leave said residence with the clothes on from the night before.

Well, some love for beast? Ok, then. That's cool. I will accept the dumb move of him posting a vlog about it and chalk it up to him being so excited that he had to tell somebody. That's cool.
As far as Bree's concerned, that was an easy way to shut Daniel up, eh? I see regret in the future from Bree.

This may only be a coincidence, but it occurs to me that the Jane Fonda character in Klute was named Bree Daniels, the plot involved an unseen evil presence that didn't appear until the end of the film, and it was shot using just one camera and one special effect.

I've heard the walk of shame applied to everyone, not just a girl who had sex. I was being more general. I mean Daniel DID use it to apply to himself did he not? Describing it as "what a girl has to do the morning after sex" would not only not be applicable to the male daniel, but it'd also imply Daniel actually had sex with Bree, which not even the crazy phorumites are suggesting. I described it exactly. |

Easy guys, I think it is just a questioin of semantics (and of slang at that). I think we can all agree that the title of the vid and that phrase in debate was grossly sensational and absurd at best. Talk about character assassination!
They managed to make Bree appear to go from virgin teenage princess to (albeit normal for her age...) "casual" sexual bebopper by using this title and phrase.
At the same time, they made DB seem like either a cad or a fool for the title and said phrase "he" used in the vid.
Horridly out of character for both of them, either way. God, I hope this IS a ruse...

i almost think the title of the video was aimed at getting more youtube views. the fact that "walk of shame" was used loosely should not surprise anyone.
