interesting. daniel goes home, but really has nothing to go home to.

-- parents barely missed him, they thought he was with paul -- further proof that adults don't go on youtube because paul & andrea's last 2 videos made clear they wanted to hear from daniel and didn't know where he was.

-- trying to get his job back at gas'n'eats, that's gotta be lucrative.

-- wanting to enroll in junior college. no real attachments yet.

-- he feels bad he left bree behind. he still cares for her? no, really?

all seems to be a setup for daniel to return to the JonasMansion after the new year? False hope?

Wow. Simply wow. Riding the rails, telling stories, describing life, this is what vlogs are all about. I don’t even care what is going on with Bree in her fantasy world with evil cults and rich orphans. I really hope they keep going with Daniel and his story of life, love, and disappointment. These are the kinds of stories I think are most ideal for this medium

This was one of the best things I've seen from them in a LONG time.
The stories he told about his trip home were way more interesting than anything that's happened since this whole Cult thing kicked into high gear. That episode, talking to the camera and how you're dealing with life, is what vlogs should be all about- not mini-movies on the internet... it's what Bree's used to be all about. It's what made it popular and what I hope they continue to try and recapture.

here was my phorum post about it. some are whining about daniel buying a twinkie.

i really liked that video. daniel vlogging just like the show used to be.

now that's he's home, he should snoop around bree's house and try to figure out what happened with her parents (especially since bree ain't doing a thing on that front). a lot of plot possibilities open up for daniel now, though i hope and expect he'll join back up with bree at some point -- either to rescue her from eviljonas, or rescue her from gropyjonas.

the fact that he didn't say he "loves" bree is completely in keeping with the ambiguity of their relationship, and his typical-18-year-old-male inability to say such things.

in agreement with lurker on the money thing! he probably had just a few bucks on him, otherwise he wouldn't have had to learn how to stow onboard a train. in fact, i personally felt that Bree exaggerated the amount of dumpster-diving that actually occurred. i mean, anybody else would have hocked the computer and camera 1st before doing much of that.

The only good part about this video is Daniel's hair because it provides some evidence for the idea that the entire "interactivity" claim of The Creators is nothing but a sham.
