When Daniel moved to click on the 10-12-06 folder, I thought for sure we were going to get to see some video from the other camera at the ceremony. Alas, no. But them having pictures of Daniel snooping around is pretty interesting.

I'm not sure why Daniel asks "how" they got pictures of him. I mean, he already suspected that he was found out while spying on the ceremony: that's why he ran away from it, after all. Is it really so hard to imagine that he was being watched in the woods for a little longer than he first realized?

Anyway, poor kid's gonna get himself in trouble with that breaking and entering thing. That box on the external wall was surely a security camera, right?

Exactly. I think we have a few choices of what we can believe. 1) Daniel thinks that Bree/her helper aren't watching his vids for some reason. 2) Daniel is a complete moron. 3) The creators didn't think this through/don't care about continuity.

Bree said she watches Daniel's videos, and Daniel never seemed that stupid. So I believe it's option 3, plot holes, which has been a theme of the series for the last month.
