OK, so why does LG recycle about the same three plot devices? They're hanging back in their car stalking people, only about 20 other episodes are about that lol. Go to the police, do they really have hands in the department this far north too? This episode was half suspenseful half really boring, cause I guess we knew he had to escape in the end and nothing really happened.

why didn't they just knock on the guys door? is everyone "sketchy" immediately public enemy no. 1?

The snow interested me, means they literally did take to the north to make the set realistic. I wonder if they planned and orchestrated the snow, hah.

Marbella of the 'pedia says this episode confirms Joan-us is with the order. Why does Marbella say this?

Ah, Hye, You’ve discovered one of the joys of living in Anchor Cove, CA. You can surf in the Pacific in the morning, and ski in the San Gabriel Mountains in the afternoon. I took the delightful drive with my daughter after visiting CalTech with her a few years ago. It was April, Pasadena was warm and beautiful and there was still snow at the higher altitudes near the Mount Wilson Observatory. Old Bree, that intelligent, dorky, independent, budding scientist would have loved the drive (both the CalTech and Mount Wilson Observatory parts). By the way, this extended bowling/foosball/drunken/gaylien/cowboy riff may be phun for the Phorum, but it portends doom for Old Bree, she may be as dead as her Not Dad. , FLWright

I miss Old Bree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This loss is even worse and more dramatic than ChiltonRory-YaleRory! Why do all the Rorys have to change?!
I don't know why I even protest anymore, it's so useless. Please Creators, throw in an Ayn Rand or Jane Austen reference and get Bree back on track. Boo hoo hoo hoo...

Gosh Hye-Mew, I didn't mean to set you off. I'm going to have to get myself up to speed on the Gilmore Girls as LG15 slowly sinks into the west. Are they a worthy substitute?

Seasons 1-3 are worthy substitutes. Once she goes to Yale, things get a little tricky (I actually haven't seen a bunch of those episodes either). I think because the show is based around the mother-daughter relationship, which gets relegated to phone contact and the occassional visit home. In season six the relationship takes a turn for the worse, and Rory turns pretty bitchy for awhile, oh just like Bree... I basically imagine Rory in high school (1-3) to be what Bree would be like had she gone to a private school and had she had a semblance of social skills. Season seven (the current one) the creators left the show, and the first half of the season was a mess of trying to pick up where they left off, with everything spinning out of control in all sorts of directions. The show has lost a lot of cohesion, which has resulted in a lot of the former supporting characters (Lane, Michel, Sookie, even Emily at times) essentially no longer really having a place in the show anymore and so don't appear much anymore. Tuesday's episode was a good one though, and I think the season is finally picking up after the trainwreck of the creators leaving at the end of season 7.
Umm, well long digression aside, the first three seasons of Gilmore Girls is something that is indeed a worthy substitute and I suggest you look into them! It's not just a "girls" show, as I think while the audience the title seems to imply (teenage females) might watch it for the romantic drama, there is a whole other level of intelligent humor which makes the show appealing to a whole other set. I bet a great deal of the witty dialogue is lost on what appears to be the target audience and can be greatly enjoyed by all kinds.

Why does Marbella say this? Don't know - she likes speculation though.

Maybe I am one of the few people that liked this episode. I’ve long said I don’t really care which direction the show goes as long as it does it well. This isn’t the show I started watching. But I think it is starting to find a grove in the thriller\horror genre, sure the story doesn’t make a lot of sense and the characters motives are incomprehensible, but those are just the things that make that genre what it is. I now hope we never see another episode shot from the perspective of a web cam. Everything should be shot with the handicam as that is what this show has become, to try and revert at all would end up with episodes that were as awkward as the ones that got the show to this point.
I will silently morn the death of LG the mock-vlog and believe they passed by exploring a very interesting and unique way of storytelling, which I believe the writers will look back on and regret not attempting. As long as it is still well made a lack of innovation doesn’t make the show itself any less enjoyable. I’ll watch this new LG along with my other guilty pleasures like 24 or House. There is nothing particularly interesting there aside from raw entertainment.
Anyways, on a totally off topic note. Early Gilmore Girls is good, I think the latter stuff is enjoyable too. For me it has never been a show with a great story either, but it has wonderful dialog. Completely unrealistic dialog, and if the way the kids spoke in Dawson’s Creek bothered you, then it isn’t the show for you. If I were tossing out CW recommendations I would highly suggest Veronica Mars. She is a totally different character than Bree or Rory, but I like her a lot more and think the series is more enjoyable and interesting as a whole.

Marbella of the 'pedia says this episode confirms Joan-us is with the order. Why does Marbella say this? She has 2 very solid arguments : 1. Why would Jonas climb in the van if he saw nothing in it? I mean, definately a fair question, but how exactly does that prove he's in the order? It could prove many other things, like Jonas is stupid; or that "nothing" in this situation means "nothing relevant" and he had to look around that nothing relevant for clues. 2. The order obviously knows where Jonas lives, why wouldn't they have already intervened? Simple- they already have him via Jonas. Which, of course, is based on speculation. Plus, the order knew where they were on the road and never took them, they let Daniel come home and leave again, even though his room was bugged.

1. I feel he could have opened the door, seen no one in there, and left, but I guess he wanted a more thorough search. It was blatantly included to add to the suspense, and I see no reason how this implicates him as an Order member.
2. Yep, pure speculation. There's nothing concrete, I am quite sure Jonas is not in the Order.
-One interesting thought that I don't think anyone brought up-- keeping with the absurd strain: What if when Jonas went into the van he was caught and the Order sent back out a Jonas CLONE they had made?! The sad thing is, in the Breeniverse as of late this is very much a viable possibility and who knows, perhaps it'll turn out to be true? I wouldn't be all that surprised, but obviously I sure hope not lol.

OMFG!! Hyemew, you're a genius. I bet they also replaced bree with a clone on the day her notDad died. It all makes sense. It also occurs to me, that whatever bree is- those injections weren't Epogen, they were Teenage Behavior Replication Serum. (her peers back home are often heard saying TBR me ASAP) She started partying with danny boy when she was getting injections, and then got all catty again after meeting her dad (who snuck in an injection on the Overlord's orders)
