My Comments:
More character assassination of Bree and Daniel. Bree comes off as a bitch and Daniel as a fool.

This is just a horrible way to treat these characters. I can justify DB being a geek enough to make a mistake, but it doesn't have to make him out to be such a buffoon in the exposition of such. Bree could be a LOT kinder to someone who has been "there" (but evidently not THERE ) for her all this time.

Totally out of character for both, I don't buy the argument of watching them change into young adults. It is just wrong to treat these characters this way.

I am sure this is all to drive some equally stupid plot development. Can you tell I am NOT in a good mood about this?

So now DB is the naive one and Bree is a bitch? really? Is the plan to make these characters as unlikable and uninteresting as possible.

The girl that didn't even know what a date is, is now cool with casually kissing a guy (and it was likely her second kiss ever.) None of this makes sense.

And the tacked on bit about her father just shows how jumbled the show has become. I'm all for multiple storylines, but this just doesn't work.

Alternatively, an iconic man putting a gun to his head in front of a computer screen with the caption 'Dad Knows Best', well plus some random cryptic icons on the back to cater to the ARG consumer segment.

Bree is a ROYAL bitch. Daniel was nothing but nice and Bree was just rude. Bree isn't so likeable anymore now is she.

The creators have messed up this whole thing so bad. Guys, I seriously wonder why I keep watching. There will come a day that I don't visit LG15 anymore and maybe check in once a week.

I'm a little disgusted they are having the second runner American Idol KM on too. I understand it's publicity but c'mon now. When her followers start watching the series, they will blast the living crap out of it. LG just isn't entertaining with the plot holes, the "do you or don't you" have to watch Op aspect, and the incrediably SLOW and sluggish pace. BLAH.

I can't even begin to tell you how sick I am of the constant comparing to the illuminati. If they are going to go there because of a handful of posters on the phorum, yuck. It's like FIELD OF DREAMS. If you believe in it, it will happen. Talk about plagerism of an idea. DaVinchi revisited.

I mean DaVinci was already such a hack-writer's rip from much better, and much more intelligent storytelling and conspiracy fantasizing.

My LG15 rationalization of the day: Bree is messed up. She's not being honest about the kiss. As this is her 2nd kiss ever, she wouldn't be so cavalier about it. But this video replays something we've seen in the series a few times now - whenever bree & daniel get close to being romantic, they have a dumb falling out.

EDIT TO ADD: i am psyched for katharine mcphee. they may not screw this one up, you know!

I didn't watch Idol last season. But I think it's weird to bring someone in from the outside and all.

And.... as I had pointed out the bit about the walk of shame, I love how Bree 'explained' it away. That's the second thing I've pointed out in the last 2 weeks that they directly addressed in a video.

Now for my real comments. WTF? Is she serious? She's embarrassing him by telling the entire world that the kiss meant nothing and making Daniel out to be a love struck idiot? No, no, no! You don't do that to someone who's stuck with you and given up everything just to make sure you stay alive. NO. You can spare a little bit of delusion for him to think you guys are an item. After all you've been through, you should be an item. Or else, KISS THE GROUND HE WALKS ON. Damn moody teenagers and their whole mind/mood changes every 5 seconds.

Back to the topic at hand now-
It's interesting that Daniel kept her off the web for so long after posting his video. It seems kind of sleezy. I can see Bree's point-of-view in wanting to set the record straight. "Daniel's a Liar" seems kind of harsh for a title, though. This is indeed a bizarre relationship. (I hope it is not based on some writer's real-life experience, though. It probably is because you couldn't make up this awkwardness and strangeness in a relationship.)

Or to be fair, maybe is it to show Bree's sheltered personality??? Or Daniel's devotion to her???

Valid points on both accounts. My problem was that the way the writers portrayed these characters bears no semblance to what we have seen in the past from them.

We have seen hints of behavioural/character traits that would have justified the horrid "Hooked Up/Walk of Shame" offering from DB, but the language and title in this vid was grossly sensational and not at all in DB's character.

The follow up vid (this one) was equally as reprehensible. If I were Bree (god almighty, I can't believe I just typed that...) I would be pissed at the previous vid and would want to clear the air. So good, so far. What we did not see was any hint of the tenderness or kindness for her towards him that he so much deserves. Sure, teenage girls can be about as nasty as it gets at times, but this was over the top. As one who is always throwing the "reality" card, I can see how the writers might think that would be a realistic reaction for her to have but I think it was heavy handed and poorly done.

Sooooo, the inevitable Bree smackdown. The mansion is becoming like lonelyworld...every little gesture is blown way out of proportion and followed by a dramatic reaction. One little act send everybody off the deep end. I think they're all adrenaline junkies now after all the Order action, so even when nothing is happening they're desperate for something to be HAPPENING. Even the characters themselves now believe they're on Dawsons Creek meets X-files...

They need to get out of the mansion, go for a walk, and get back to reality.

However, instead...
