edited to add: plus, they're not going right back to their room, so they'll get a chance to upload this video before discovering that the order was in their room.... Too bad she brought P. Monkey with her, maybe he holds the secret that the order will be looking for (like, how in 3 men and a baby the drugs were stuffed in a diaper......)

Aside from canonizing Jonas, I thought it was a good video. Bree coming to her senses and making a picnic for Daniel was the right move. By sunday they're going to be running out of money though.
They'll probably go stay with Jonas and his boyz on his pharm out in Humboldt. Does he have enough boyz to take on some watchers?
Was Bree looking at a picture? Or was that the note her parents left at the end of the video?

you can look him up in the LGpedia under fanfic. He's some rich bum who's parents mysteriously vanished years ago, and is now sending video responses to bree. He hasn't officially been canonized yet, but Bree's shout out is pretty strong evidence that he will be.

Like some code she forgot about or something. edit to add: i think their videos getting a number and showing up on the front page seals the deal for canonization. |

Definition of canon from wikipedia:
"In the context of fiction, the canon of a fictional universe comprises those novels, stories, films, etc. that are considered to be genuine, and those events, characters, settings, etc. that are considered to have inarguable existence within the fictional universe."
While I realize not every video featuring Jonas would necessarily be canon, the character of Jonas is canon because Bree made reference to him in a canon video. We don't have to dance around it.

I liked the middle of this episode. The beginning, mentioning Jonas, obviously was horrible. I knew that was coming but was hoping not so soon. Revealing OpAphid AND Jonas as canon both in one week is a little intimidating even to the crazy fans who love and investigate both. For the average fan who probably only has heard of OpAphid but hasn't really followed it, and maybe never even saw a Jonas video, suddenly throwing both of them into the mix in one week is a bad idea.
Like I said, the middle was good, but when Daniel then said "then all of a sudden Bree got really sad- must miss her parents"... I don't know, its one of many occassions lately when Bree basically seems bipolar or something. She's laughing it up one minute, then all of a sudden she's wailing and gnashing her teeth over her parents. It's like MAKE UP YOUR MIND. Someone in her position, I'd say, most likely would be either sad all the time or pretty somber yet even keeled. For her to be laughing one minute like the old Bree and then brooding on a rock- while she's on a picnic that she organized and made Daniel go on- it just doesn't make sense.

I liked the video and their makeshift Thanksgiving feast.
I didn't know about Jonas and such. In all honesty, since the introduction of Gemma, I've been rather turned off to the series when before I was a die-hard fan. I don't like having to jump between five, six, seven people and videos just to know what's going on. Three is enough, but now five videos to dance back and forth between? No thanks. I liked it all better when it was just Bree and Daniel.
Gemma is just some pitiful liaison sending mixed messages, all with grim fates all the while smiling. If you're telling a friend about some dangerous organization that has infiltrated the highest ranks, you DON'T SMILE like a Barbie doll with that fake grin painted on! I only watch, in dire pain, Gemma's videos when I have to. It's nothing really against the actress, but I think adding Gemma in so late was a horrid move. If they're strapped for cash, they should stop hiring new actors/actresses and concentrate on the two main characters.
Apologies, I really needed a rant there. It's just been going downhill ever since Gemma. And now this OpAphid thing. And latest addition, this Jonas guy. It's all a load of crock.

Oh for God's sake!
Why are the creators so oblivious to the fact that the whole LG thing was better when it was simple. No other characters creeping in or being referenced to, no TERRIBLE actors suddenly appearing and accepted as canon for no good reason.
It's like - imagine if as well as watching Lost, you had to constantly surf all the other channels, looking for shows that may or may not be tied in.
Then, once you manage to track one down, you have to watch that too - even though it's not fun or interesting and the cast suck. That's kinda how I see LG now.
Creators - go the Bond route. Strip everything down to the bare bones and move on.
