Is foul language allowed on this board? I'm just asking because after the OpAphid incident, the only words I have on my mind are pretty bad words, so to speak. *diffuse feeling of terrible disappointment* i feel your pain. i'm restraining myself too with these recent NBR and opaphid linkages. why can't the creators do some fan interaction with fanfic that mimics the qualities of bree that the rest of us like -- like paul&andrea, for example. |

Well.. Finally we see some action coming from DB.. Watching DB slowly dying in the bed, bored to death, reading the same mags for 15th time, made me sick bored.. He got mad! Wohoooooooooooooo! He got frustrated and walked away on Bree! So much action I can't believe it! ;D
Ok.. We all know we are not going to watch any X-rated scene on this IMS.. But can we at least get some interaction between the protagonists? It would be nice to see some common sense once in a while.. Like DB asking Bree about her parents past and the people that used to come to her house.. About those summer camps she was sent to.. Doing some research on the available information.. Trying to figure what do her parents want them to do.. Whether they can do anything to help or they better keep a low profile.. Some thinking and talking to each other.. Maybe a kiss once in a while.. Naaah, just kidding! Remember: This IMS is sponsored by Winey the Poo!
Otherwise what are they waiting for? The cult to become socially responsible and shoot them for being so boring people coud die watching them?
They have been found once.. If there was any particular interest in keeping them from doing something they could either be killed or abducted.. At least threatened.. Or advised.. Maybe a broken window in their car?.. Ok, we dont have budget for windows.. They can leave a written note in recycled paper written with a Library pencil and leave it in the windshiel wiper.. Something!
There has been nothing of that.. Bree even comments on walking over the main hall at 4:30 in the morning looking for something to read.. I can see how fearful she is! They run from the watcher and they have a great escape plan ready: To go find another motel where they'll be asked for some ID and where they can be watched easily.. Right.. I dont get it..
Maybe they wanted the cult to know the watcher they sent was actually stupid.. And that's why they runned away.. Now I get it!.. So now they'll send another watcher smarter and stealthier.. That's a good strategy.. Right?
Well.. You know what? I'd wish they go back home and find out that Bree's parents have been slaughtered or whatever has to happen.. If Bree has to be sacrificed in a satanic ceremony and DB save her risking his life wearing only a tiger skin as underwear so be it.. But please: I need to see some interaction!
Was Yousef pretending to be bored of was he actually bored to death? I mean.. The Creators have to be bored to death themselves shooting this scenes!
No! Don't tell me I'm being sarcastic and unfair.. Don't even consider thinking that I'm asking too much from an internet production.. Just go and see Eddie at the Noho/Weho thing and tell me how big the budget or how professional the cast must be to do something that would keep people entertained.. Even the kidnapper from K's vids was more amusing!
Last thing: I'd buy Eddie's and Leah's and Scottz cap's, T-shirts and even fake resumes with no SSN or Address.. They made me laugh and kept me entertained.. LG15 WTF are you doing?

So, why hasn't the order acted, if they know where Bree is? Are they testing her? Analyzing her behavior? Did they set up a fake disappearance of her parents as some sort of social experiment? I mean, really- how hard would it have been to grab Bree at any given second?
So, IF OpAphid is canon, Tachyon is, too right? Do the release dates of their videos line up with the missing episode numbers?
what does OpAphid stand for? I kept coming up with random things: Observe (all of them involve Observe, since it seems so logical) Person Always Perform Handshake to Identify Denderah or Always Present Hand to Identify Denderah (y'know, since they have those markings on their hands and all....), Observe, Pause, Always Phone to Inform Denderah (the h being buried with the p) Observe, Prostelyze, Assign Proper Helper to Irritate Danielbeast.

As for the video episode numbers, looks like i was wrong about that hypothesis. everytime they create new pages at lonelygirl15.com, they get a page number assigned to them even if its not a video page. so, for example, the paypal donation page got a number (104). There is no gaps in the vids that can be discerned from that programming system. |

So, there's the porcupine/rabies thing. Daniel getting tired of hiding out in Motels thing. The Opaphid thing. Boy Scouts? p.monkeyfan thinks opaphid is: O - observe P - plan A - avoid P - protect H - hide I - ignore D - deceive Sounds about as close to the way a secret society would deal with strangers as any. The whole rabies thing is weird. When an animal has rabies, it doesn't react to threatening situations the way they normally would? Like they wouldn't be scared even though that is the only rational reaction? Is it Bree that has rabies?  Surely a sign that all is not right with Bree even though she's acting all perky and making jokes? Daniel is acting pretty normal. He's annoyed and stressed out and sick of living in a motel...as one would expect. No one to talk to. Bree isn't really giving up much useful information. This isn't really what he was hoping for with their relationship. Second thoughts? A Daniel video would hit the spot right now. |

I would like to note that "Tachyon & OpAphid" is an anagram for "had an itchy poop." It must be a clue! Or maybe it symbolizes how the whole thing is going down the toilet... Now, if that was a spicy poop, we'd have to conclude that Sam Breslow's stalky neighbor Scott is a part of the Order. Saaaaay.... Dani does keep seeing those Ordery-looking hallucinator agents everywhere..... CROSSOVER FEVER! |

A much, much better (and more accurate) summary of OpAphid and Tachyon from over on the phorum:
Reader’s Digest Version Narrative
OpAphid made their appearance by posting a video response to Bree’s “My Difficult Decision”. In this video Op praises Bree for sticking with the ceremony and turning Daniel away.
Op then turned her sites on Cassie with a series of videos that openly mocked the specter. Through this series of videos a phone number was discovered that lead to a voicemail from Op asking us to be prepared.
One of OpAphid’s information gather facilities was broken into and while most items were found in the park by Op’s people, we were asked to double check. At this point we found the first drop items that lead to the discovery of Tachyon, a double agent who had infiltrated OpAphid’s regime. Tachyon had grown restless in her mission and bolted early much to the dismay of “Mom and Dad”.
When the items were recovered, the recovery team also received 2 phone calls. One from “Brother”, Tachyon’s partner and another from Op. The first call was an attempt by Brother to contact Tachyon and failing that, gather information about her where…abouts. The followup call was a pass/fail message from Op. Loyalty = Pass. Turning over info = Fail.
Others also received these calls later and it was discovered that the phone Op had used for the VM puzzle was Tachyon’s that she had lost while undercover.
Tachyon’s ran North through Bakersfield to Santa Nella. Here Tachyon leaves more clues for Brother. She is presumably hitchhiking at this point. There is a copy of the Thelemic text “The Book of The Law” and a bookmark indicating Tachyon’s opinions of this text. Also in the drop, a video of Daniel following Lucy.
Craigslist posts travel through Merced and Modesto and reveal more messages from Tachyon to Brother Notable: “Thelema a of ?” which implies that Thelema might not be the only religion that Op has it’s fingers in. There is also a message to pass along
”HE NEEDS TO KNOW HOW LONG THEY HAVE BEEN ON TO HIM IT IS NOT LIKE THEY JUST STOP TRACKING SOMEONE”
Tachyon’s travels now take her to San Francisco. This message is meant for the people who have been getting to drops before Brother. “Take Warning”, Nancy Drew’s Guide to Life (full of spy tips), “Who watches the watchers?” and the big one, five photos of Daniel at the ceremony.
Since Tachyon’s cell phone has been under Aphid control, she’s needed a new phone line. Brother has come though for her…the puzzle was long and involved math. Sometimes it helps to come in late.
Brother tells us he is also being followed, hence the man who knew too little routine. He also dials in his youtube account.

Note that the last Tachyon drop also hinted that Tachyon might be the girl Gemma mentioned who disappeared with her family.
