This video was expected, she had to come back to terms with her audience. Most of the conjecture now is why the story about the Oxen and what does it symbolize in the plot.

! EDIT: Not surprising, the mere mention of cassie has generated 5 pages of comments already on the official board :-) Part of me is enjoying how they (she who will not be named obsessive folks) are being "played with" by the Creators. It does keep the board active, albeit with fairly low brow comments and conjecture. I guess generating eyeballs is the main commercial objective, but without a valid business model to follow I don't see how attracting them really helps... I guess any eyeballs are good at this point for them. I also liked the sweater. Don't know if it means anything, but it keeps the little boys from getting all frenzied and hopefully more on track over there...

I liked that video. I agree that it had a good mix of the cuteness factor and the informational factor. I wonder if she has told her "helper" about her videos. That would be interesting.

This vid was interesting. In reference to the "scared about the ceremony" comments in this thread, I think Bree may have just been eluding to being afraid of doing her part in front of a large group of people -- as opposed to being afraid of the ceremony itself. Much of the detail about this ceremony has been left open to our imagination, and in some ways we have let it run a bit wild with guesses at everything from sex magick to a ritual sacrifice. For example, I believe she was also a little nervous about her play at "summer camp" as well.
As for the mention of Cassie, I'm really glad it didn't stir the water here as much as it did at the other LG15 message board. I hope we hear more about what aspects of Bree's religion made her friendship dissolve. If anything the reference may be a hint at hearing (or seeing) more about the cannon Cassie character, which could possibly be a play at quashing CiW.
Also, bravo to Bree confronting Daniel on his "stalking" activities. As much as everyone was interested in the item in Daniel's pocket -- I on the other hand just felt it was kinda creepy that he was following Bree around and waiting outside her house.
BTW - Does anyone know there that yolked cow allusion comes from?
Cheers,
syncomm

I've heard the yoked oxen metaphor at weddings. Yoked oxen are a common metaphor for marriage. Found an interesting Biblical reference:
Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? --- I Cor. 6:14
So basically don't marry an unbeliever, is the message in the Christian interpretation.

I've dutifully maintained a list of All the Tags here. But I've got no idea where they're going with the strange tags. I have the strange tags in italics. They're mostly animals. With a few physics and microbiology terms thrown in. BTW - Does anyone know there that yolked cow allusion comes from? It's used in the Bible in Second Corinthians, Chapter 6. But I think it's a metaphor that predates the bible, and is merely ancient farmer wisdom. (FWIW, yolks are only with eggs -- when you're talking about oxen it's yoke) I also liked the sweater. Don't know if it means anything, but it keeps the little boys from getting all frenzied and hopefully more on track over there... Since I'm only 3ish-years-older than Jess, I don't feel like a lecher saying that I really miss the tanktops. If the girls can talk about Yousef's pants bulge, I can talk about Jess rocking a tanktop, until I'm a little bothered.

My guess is just thrown in there for fun - medical terms that the med school creator throws in.

I think it's interesting that normal is a tag. Does she say the word normal, ever? I know phytoplankton is the obvious odd one out. I just think normal is odd.

Maybe the "normal" tag is just that she feels she is back to normal and not going against her parents and sneaking out and she feels she is back on track and "normal"
