Since we've established that the point of this whole exercise is to follow the clues we're given, it seems like we're missing a big one -- who are Paul and Andrea?

If you look at the indent (whatever it's really called lol) at the bottom of her neck and on her shoulders in the early vid's in comparison to the last 3. It looks like she has lost some weight. I don't know for sure, but it looks that way to me.

Some of Daniels friends, how are we supposed to know anything more specific than that?

I think there was a link in my prior post, although I may be mistaken? They’ve created a plot, and the Thelma inclusion into the plot negates a happy-go-lucky ending… so something’s going to happen, and writers don’t make this sort of thing up, they borrow ideas from others… and it’s plausible that they read the story about an 18 year-old boyfriend killing the parents of a fourteen year-old, homeschooled girlfriend, because the parents were too restrictive. It was big news in the United States, when it happened, although you probably didn’t hear about it… since you’re from the Island.

I don’t think members of this board have standing to complain of speculation.

She's now rebellious... maybe the religious ceremony will be disgusting and bring things to a head... Daniel has been established as hostile to her parents... Daniel may step in and kill the parents... and they may try to make an escape (which I suppose would be the last episode, unless they have webcams in prison).

Obviously, if this were true, there's a lot more character development to go, since they have been very good at taking everything one step at a time. But if Daniel takes her to the shooting range (establishing his means of killing them), and she becomes increasingly rebellious, I think we'll be set for a big finish.

I think it's pretty clear that she's already on a physical decline (as noticed by others: less facial expressions, less makeup, more tired, etc.), and I think it's very likely that she's going to snap... I think the main question now is "what is that snap going to be?"

Are you a betting man? I will bet you $100 that Daniel dosen't kill her parents. I think it would be totally out of line with the current story. Ok so there have been pointers that there is something dark hanging over the story, however I would say more than 80% (90%) of the videos were her acting stoopid and having fun. Let's not forget that it isn't only westerm teens watching these videos, it is people of all ages, nationalities and religions. The creators have a duty to their viewers to ensure the content is of a taste and IMO it would be unacceptable for Daniel to kill Bree's parents, especially as they cannot filter the video's to their targeted audience.

Haha, while bored in class this morning I was thinking, when I go to the boards, I bet the first thing I see regarding the newest video will be a question about the bandage.
My guess came true!
Methinks, without reading anything further, that there could very possibly be pages of speculation about what happened with the bandage. Did Daniel hit her? Did her dad hit her? Did she fall out of the tree? I say there's no way of knowing, and most likely they did that because they WANT more speculation, so let's not even go there!

Oh that's weird, she actually addresses this. When did she have time for a shot, what with sneaking out Saturday night and being grounded and making lemonade Sunday. I guess it was given by her dad to prepare for the ritual. It'd be funny if pretty soon she falls apart so much Bree's shows ended up just being a talking skeleton. (Literally, not figuratively as I don't find emaciation funny.)
Looks like I'm breaking my own rule.

Perhaps "Paul" and "Andrea" are Daniel and Bree's real names.

so she got a shot my guess is in her room because everything in that house takes place there so maybe her dad is a doctor or ex junkey and knows how to give one.

Maybe the thesbreean herself had been ill and they inserted the bandage/ shot/campylobacter/infection thing to explain her appearance & demeanor for the last few episodes. Easily explained by saying she ingested some of the water from the swimming vid, or that's actually what happened to the actress.

Inoculation = travel out of the country for ceremony? Seems unlikely but if there's a shutdown while the creators do whatever it is they have to do to launch the next phase it would explain any lengthy absence from vid posting.

Parallels between the B&D storyline and the Ludwig/Borden case are too much to overlook, at least enough to seriously consider this as possible source material. Doesn't mean that the storyline is going to take that particular turn, since that's not in Daniel's character, but some variation is possible. Obviously some confrontation is upcoming if she sneaks out again and then it's Daniel to the rescue (To heck w/Bree's Dad). Although if they hoof it on the road it'd be kinda difficult or just plain wrong to keep posting. "Hey, I ran away from home and we're at a Motel 6. Don't tell, okay?"

Has her hair been cut? I've been looking at the new video and she makes a point of flinging it around. I'm not sure if it's just bundled or if it's been rather poorly cut to shoulder length. Has she had it tied up in any previous videos?
