OK, even though I was on "TEAM FAKE" for this entire ride, there were still times I'd watch episodes and be like "Wow, I dunno she seems really ...real!"
So, now we know for good and certain it was all staged, but up until today which episode made you go "Maybe she's real after all?"
(Basically, which YouTube video do you think was Jessica's best work in pretending to be Bree?)

"I'm Really, Really, Really Excited!"
...and THEN we went and got MILKSHAKES!
it's that sweet little giggle at the very end that got me!

Thanks for responding for me it was the whole "Would Daniel make a good caveman" video. Something about her...I don't know, she acted REALLY well in that one. I thought she looked and acted like a 16 year old in it. Oddly enough it was the first one that made me doubt her. Her statement "SHHH, cavemen don't have the tool of language" seemed wayyy to charming. But still, good good acting in that one.

The one where they lipsync to the Nelly song. It was just such the thing YouTube blogging teenagers do, with the crudely formed tinfoil grills and all.

The Pluto one. I'm not sure why, other than I thought she was cute and more 16-like in it.

The grillz video because like the dude way above said it just seemed like a typical video people post on youtube. Also the what did Daniel and dad talk about. For some reason that video made it seem a little more real because we got to see her whole room and also it didnt really seem like she was acting really.

It is so unlikely a girl like Bree would know the words to that type of song. She could clearly been seen lip-syncing.

Yea but her comments made it more believeable. She said that she didnt really like the song but her and Daniel wanted to do something fun blah blah. She said she listened to it like 10 times till she memorized it. Something of that sort, not her exact words but yea she said something like that.

I was fairly certain that it was fake with 'My Lazy Eye'. This clip was so nicely book-ended, snappily edited and witty that I knew nobody would be able to put this together without experience. The lines were also so clearly structered that it was clearly pre-written and rehearsed.
'Daniel the Neanderthal' kinda swayed me for a little while, most probably, because I would have liked it to be real, and it seemed more teenagerish, anything after and I had no doubts.

I had only watched the first couple videos, and I sort of felt bad for her. Here was this poor sheltered girl whose only social outlet was the internet. Then I read about the fact that everyone thought she was fake, and I was was like, "Oh, yeah, I get it."
After that, I never actually thought the character was real, but I was starting to wonder if this was just something friends were doing for fun.

Well none made me think it was REAL, but I thought the Neanderthal one seemed a lot like something that would be written by some kids their age and acted out. It reinforced my belief this was some thing done by some college kids randomly. I thought it was pretty good, but at the same time TOO good for just regular kids in their rooms. "Shh... cavemen didn't have the tool of language" is one of the best delivered lines in the series.
And regarding grillz, that was a bit of a stumble early on because I knew there was no way a homeschooled 16 year old would know all about grillz (and their use amongst certain people), listen to rap, knew the lyrics, etc. It was very out of character of her and made me believe that, unlike Bree, the actress liked this kind of music. Turns out that was correct.

I have to admit I vacillated back and forth between her being real and fake on a weekly basis. She almost breaks character several times in the boy problems video, which made me think she was probably acting. Yet, the email exchange with Virginia made me think it was real again—I was under the ‘long emails’ had given her some additional information (I also bought the rational about “A History in Time.”)
The video that made me think it was real was the “Maybe I Shouldn’t Post This..” video, the way the played it seemed very reasonable to me: Daniel never adds it to favorites, the editing only shows her side, makes Daniel look the fool. A lot of people didn’t think someone would really post a video like that, but the reason you post it is to make a point to the person you are fighting with.
I switched back over on the Swimming video, at around 1:32 you can see her back, and she is not wearing a black bathing suit. There is no way a girl would go swimming in a lake like that and not wear her bathing suit under his cloths; that, along with the high quality of the video editing and camera work shifted me to fake camp.
