So it's June 16th And what have you done? Another year over And you're still on the run And so it's June 16th I hope you have fun With your super powered cell phone And the Hymn of One I'm sad that Lonelygirl wasn't as good as I wanted it to be. I get that deals need to be done to keep them afloat and help to fund the episodes, but I really don't like the way it was so fun, innocent and with so much potential, then totally lost itself, kept running and then slutted out to pay the bills. I kind of don't even want to call the creators 'creators' anymore, I think these days 'destroyers' is more fitting.

Lol elixer that cracked me up, super exalt!
And I feel exactly the same way. Remember when all the hints at something sinister and mysterious were fun? The Destroys seemed to have developed an uncanny way of taking what was fun mystery and turned it into a 100000000000-headed hydra monster. The mystery of the order and the religion have taken on the subtlety of a lead block being dropped on your head and is now completely and utterly not fun anymore. Why couldn't they keep it looming in the background, with hints of it popping up every so often? Do they even still pretend there's a mystery to this religion which needs solving? It's had so many incarnations over the past year that it is utterly impossible to sort out fact from fiction any longer, and what we have now is merely trying to figure out what the Order/cult/religion is today... because God knows by the time you figured it out it will have taken on some other sort of incarnation which is totally different than what was hinted at before and causes you to go right back to the beginning again.

Thanks Hye. I agree, most of the fun of this series (the actual series; not trying to figure out who was behind it) was trying to find meaning in the subtle, cryptic clues they gave us. Now even when they do give us any kind of clue, most of us don't feel any need to try to figure it out because we know that by the next episode it will have morphed into something completely different. I do think that they have the right idea in dragging parts of the plot out, the only problem is that they somehow mixed up the parts they should have resolved with the parts that should have gone on for a bit longer. And nothing as menial as a ceremony should have dragged on this long, I don't care which fictional universe we're in, and whether or not they sacrifice or impregnate anyone, it just shouldn't have gone on this long! What could have been dragged out more is, as you say, the subtle hints that lead us to question her religion. But no, they have to treat it merely as some vague "evil secret society called 'the Order' which is after these young girls for some evil purpose..." (actual quote from Greg )
