Hello. I am a sportswriter from America, certified LG watcher since Monday, August 28 (6 pm EDT). I'm not involved, and don't post enough to merit my own "Who is..." thread in this subforum. I've learned a lot from this game. A lot about love.
About me: I like mysteries and stories. I like watching the way internet-people attempt to gain notoriety by falsely inserting themselves into mysteries and stories, with utter disregard to the inevitability that they'll eventually be revealed as fakes (although it's usually a disposable shell of a cipher under that mask, so it doesn't really matter anyway). I also like the idea that online groupthink is more powerful than a D-cell battery. Hope y'all solve the big fun riddle soon.

hello!! i was mostly a lurker on the other board, because to be frank i don't have much to contribute and also the vibe was a little flamey. anyways, i'm 34, married with 2 cats and .3 kids and live in nyc. my real name is katie... umm, i used to have a blog but i wasn't updating it enough to keep it. www.flickr.com/photos/lolapants/(best thing i have web-wise) i am often described as a 16 year old at heart, so the "story line" of lg15 appeals to me v. much in that sense. it's good to add to my teen-culture diet, esp. until veronica mars come back on this fall ;^)

Thanks for making this board.
I've been following this myster for just a few days, but what a great puzzle!
I've learned about the occult, California plantlife, media convergence trends, video editing software, I.P addresses, domain name registration, YST camps, State parks in the southwest, Baphomet, home-schooling and even cookies.
However this turns out, I appreciate the genuis behind it.
I live in Arkansas and have 3 boys, ages 4, 4 and 3.
BTW, I'm not into the occult but I think the picture of Crowley is hilarious.

I just found this forum today, and chatted with Alissa, CM, noasinger and... (dang, I cannot remember the last person's name who helped me get my mIRC software loaded and configured, sorry man, Thanks for your help anyway! ). I am a baby boomer Work-at-home IT nerd living in Santa Clara, California, so lots of time to browse the web waiting for disasters to befall the accounts I am supporting lol. I put up a test video on YT a couple days ago (search on my username if you so desire, it is somewhat unique), it's nothing fancy, and I am certainly no extrovert, but I wanted to play with MS Moviemaker and eventually send video greetings to my family members who are spread all over the country. I started casually watching LG15 when I stumbled upon thehill88 and a response she did to the video "I probably shouldn't post this". It captured my peripheral attention somewhat, but I was not too interested in LG15's style. I stumbled upon this forum after glancing at the lonelygirl15.com forums today because of the uproar. I saw the lonelygirl15.com website a couple weeks ago and instantly knew it was a bit too slick to be just a simple fan site, especially since I have a habit of running a whois on domain names for fun. I will most likely just be a lurker here, since I am just now joining this whole investigative phase of the LG15 phenomenon. I look forward to lots of interesting reading...

Hi everyone. I'm another Bree fan. Been a fan ever since her cornholio video. When the crowley thing hit the fan I realized how awsome this could become.
And it's becoming.
Good to be aboard.

Hi-i\'m shelly. I\'ve been lurking here for awhile and i lurked at the old forum a bit but not much because it got way to complicated... I still dont understand most of whats going on, so sorry if i ask a lot of dumb questions but i\'ll try to do it via private message so not to clutter the forum.
oh, and about me, i\'m from dallas, tx, where i work in a call center. i work swing shift, so sometimes i\'m at work at all hours of the day and night... even when nobody is calling, like tonight...

Hi I just wanted to chime in with my newbie bell and step out from the shadows of lurkdom. Hi I'm Umbrella Gecko and I have been following the "Lonelygirl15" mystery for awhile and was completly intrigued and amazed about the whole thing. It's been a fun summer mystery and any time I don't have to force myself to pick up a cookbook again just to say I read is fine by me At the moment i'm totally hooked by YouTube and I don't know why. Originally I just went on to post some obscure cartoons I found and NOW ... well that's for the meeting on thursdays This seems like a really cool community

High all,
New to the board but started following the story over the past weekend. Really enjoying it all. Not as much interested in YouToob as I am the idea of it all. I have played ARG's before but I am not sure this is or isn't one. It's all sort of transforming befor our eyes but I love the way everyone on this board is working together to solve whatever mystery there is!

Hi everyone! Wellity, wellity, wellity... I've been lurking around the forums and the net for about two weeks or so, trying to figure out one mystery after the other in this Lonelygirl saga. I'm 22, from Australia, doing my honours year at university - I'm studying communication... well trying to anyway... now I'm turning into a bit of a Sherlock Holmes in my spare time... well, ok - it's not exactly spare time... Anyway, the whole "new art form" idea is so great, I'm just kicking myself because I didn't think of it first! So yeah, I'm enjoying being a part of the show and looking forward to interacting with all you guys!

Alo - I'm Wyo. I ran across the LG15 story in AIM news, and decided she was hot enough to make looking into the story more worthwhile I think the whole thing is like a soap opera. Complete Madness, lots of lies. Wouldn't Sir Arthur Conan Doyle have fun with THIS mess! Well, that's me and my view on the topic. Cheers!

Hi, my nic is lg15luv. Not very original but at the time I was trying to figure out what all the fuss was about. After reading the article in the LA TImes a couple of weeks ago, I was immediately hooked and found this awesome forum. I belong to several other forums (nothing to do with lg15) and I must say the energy and participation by the members and mods in this board is nothing short of fantastic. I hope you don't mind but I have posted a few wallpapers in the "Fun and Games" section and will be adding more as time goes by. One reason why this phenomenon is so interesting to me is because it's all happening right in my own back yard. I live fairly close to downtown LA, Burbank, et al and the Cassie swimming hole is only about 5 miles away. I actually thought I had a JLR sighting last week in a town nearby called San Dimas but I was probrably hallucinating. She was a real hottie though. LOL! Anyway it's nice to be here. I only wish I had gotten involved back in June. lg15luv
