vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoID=2020240319Description: Josh keeps a secret about his home life. VanillaFlava adds: I am starting to like this show. I am still pretty much confused with the characters, constantly trying to remember who they were from their Blitz-Intro from the 2nd episode. I think I would have liked them to be introduced more naturally over the show. Either way, I like the classic setup of each character seemingly receiving their own dark secret. This is likely not going to be a very original show, but at least so far it's believable and interesting.

Like you said, so many characters. I guess it's hard to do in a limited number series, but htey should have introduced them gradually or not had so many main characters to begin with.
This episode was boring, nothing really happened. I liked when he said "it's my parents...", as if he had a purity bond or something...

Gotta disagree. They are slowly introducing the characters. They ran through them all in episode 2, but also they're going through one by one and telling you more. Why do you think she goes out of her way to call him Josh and he goes out of her way to call her Lauren? Why do you think they went out of the way to call soccer star boy Chad so many times in the last episode? And if getting hit over the head with the names one at a time is still tricky for you -- they're on MySpace/promqueentv. Not to mention that they're only 7 minutes into the show. In sum: sorry, but they're handling this extremely well.

ep5: Home Sweet Home Milo's Recap:Josh (the loner) and Lauren (the class flirt) swap spit in Lauren's car. Josh begs off Ms. Easy, but apparently does like her. His secret? He actually lives on the other side of the tracks at a dumpy motel. I bet Marissa Cooper probably lived there for a while too. other comments:confusion with trying to keep up with the characters at first was also a problem with samhas7friends. that's why (as jay noted) they quickly tried to run through the characters and their archetypes in Ep2. if someone wants to create a masterlist, let's put it up on the other pq section - start a thread for "characters" so we can compile all the info necessary for each character for people trying to catch up?

I liked when he said "it's my parents...", as if he had a purity bond or something... Hahahaha! Good call Hye. Well, I for one hope it doesn't take on that storyline! The names these characters have are not very memorable! I spent the whole episode thinking Josh was Chad and that Lauren was the girl with the emerald ring. Then I flicked back to the episode Chad was in and realised his name wasn't Josh. They seem to all look similar as well (in my memory anyway, lol). I'll have to pay closer attention to keep on top of who is who, but other than that, I agree that it probably isn't all that original so far, but it's enjoyable all the same.
