What is going on??! I mean I know the delay of YouTube uploads has angered some people, but I highly doubt the average YTer even knows there's a delay as they only watch it there. However, recent monitoring of LG15 YT views shows a horrible drop in views lately. Remember when a number in the 100k would be awfully low? Looking over the last 9 episodes we have Truckstop Reunion as the oldest, one week ago- 226k, that's normal. Next one- Co-Ed Foosball... 85k only Vegas: 94k Then... the bottom falls out: Subjects Apprehended: 27k! Psychological Torture: 43k! Communication Terminated: 149k Missing Days: 53k
Meanwhile on Revver there's been no major increase (though some) Psychological Torture episodes had around 30k, Mexico episodes have 19k Compared to what a month or two ago was mainly 12-16k each.
I just realized, looking over this, what happened. They uploaded Subject Ap, Psy Tor, and Communication Terminated all on the same day. People probably only bothered to look at the latest one, which explains why the last one from that day is so much more than the others. There's been quite a roar of uploads so that helps to explain the lower numbers, but still, they are definitely getting less and less views regardless.

I think that the casual viewer of YT is just over LG. It was all outed over six months ago now. They want to watch the newest, biggest, brightest up-coming channels on YT. I guess it could be argued that LG has had its day. And also, if we find flaws in it - others would too. The difference is just that other viewers aren't as interested in it as we are.
I also know that people are over it as of the way they insert the mid frames with the LG15 logo on it. In my opinion, it just makes LG seem more commercial in a rather "sneaky" kind of way, and people tire of that. I know I have. I don’t think that they will get more views or subscribers by doing this. A lot of YouTubers know what LG is, and I just don’t see why this frame thing is necessary. I think there could be much better ways to get views. This frame thing could actually detract views. I know I don’t always watch them on YT, 1. Because I’ve already watched on Revver, and 2. Because there was no frame to distract me on Revver, and thus it was a better viewing experience.
Not only that, but YT viewers are constantly reminded of other channels either by seeing them featured on the front page, or by seeing the 'director's videos' plastered all over the site. It might be just me, but I've never seen an LG video, or the channel featured like this, while other big name YouTubers get featured a lot.
Another reason could be that other vloggers mention each other and interact with each other. This could easily get more views/subscribers. If their videos are replies of other people's videos, it is assumed a lot of people will watch the original video. And even if it is just someone like TheHill88 talking about Boheme, people watching TheHill's video are likely to check out Boheme.
Lonleygirl15 doesn't interact with other YouTubers. It's all pretty much contained within it's own universe. Even the 'in-character' interaction is done at the phorum with the fans, and not on YouTube itself, so that doesn't really leave it open to many people.
One other thing, is the thumbnail they have for LG15. Jess is a pretty girl, but the photo they have of her is not flattering whatsoever. Now, I'm not one who freely goes around and criticise people's appearances. I don't like it when people do that, but the thumbnail isn't very good. Sorry, but it's not!

I noticed this fall off as well, I don't have a good explanation, I noticed there was an up tick for "Communication Terminated" it got 157k but I think maybe it was the thumbnail. Cleavage will do it every time.

Haha, while that's a good theory I think they uploaded three in the same day and so most people only went to the latest of those videos since it was the most recent one. That is indicative of not overly active viewers, people don't care that they haven't seen each new one.
