you know, for awhile smosh started to abandon youtube (putting livevideo shout-outs in their videos), but that ended. i suspect some agreement was reached with youtube.
lg15, on the other hand, made a highly public official jump to revver when they were outed (though they started posting videos there a week or so before the reveal) -- and I suspect never tried to negotiate with youtube. they blew youtube off. they put their bets on revver -- and revver is nothing more than a video hosting site, no community, no growth.
then the creators started to further increase the release delay of youtube videos by up to a week from revver. all hardcore lg15 fans stopped watching videos on youtube, creating a vaccuum in the youtube community.
youtube has featured lg15 spinoffs (thehill88 twice, dee montreal) and even put paulmark18 on the signup page for 2 days. lg15? nothing.
