Interesting quote:
Shields challenged traditionally linear producers to find new ways of reaching a generation of viewers for whom "the conversation is the content".
Stupid monkey that I am, is he saying that the medium is specifically designed to promote or encourage discussion? If so, I think he "gets it" because that is what has kept me in the game this long...
Perhaps if the in-character sections were REALLY interactive that would be true for that facet of it also. So far, C- on that part from the c's.

Wow, really strange how Greg said he was going around for months trying to get sponsors for LG15 to no avail- and now suddenly KM comes along and they get millions! Congrats on their apparent successes.

No, that was not a burn. Just a real observation. I hope in their new bebo medium they can still up a good amount of views and have a PQ-like success. Nothing is going to match the early days of LG15, but ironically for their subscribers they got on board back then and wanted to wait it out sufficiently long despite it being blatantly obvious that LG15 videos were capable of a huge amount of exposure. Now the exposure is way down and they're starting to get on board. I don't know what KM will register because it's a whole new thing on a different medium most of us know nothing about, so it remains to be seen whether these many companies are making a good investment. I think we can safely assume that it won't be as good as if they got on in the first few months after the reveal though. That said, whether there were offers that the Creators just tended to reject, or no fish biting, is a matter of some dispute.
