Milo, if people let views control their opinions, what happens if the view counter were hidden? they find another proxy. like most subscribed, or what youtube recommends. people seek out order in chaos. i'm sure there is some literature about tastemakers out there--at least i think that's how it works. and bebo doesn't have a view counter, which is driving me crazy. i think KM's audience so far is pretty small though, based on the number of comments & her and sophie's number of friends.

I concur Milo, it appears from all indicators that the phan participation is not strong. Too bad, because I think that it shows a lot more promise than LG at this point. Then again, someone has been left with a pretty big mess to deal with... I think we are seeing a learning curve in action. Step by painful step. I posted (what seems like eons ago) that we were witnessing the birth of a "new (not art form, more melange) form of entertainment" and that we had to watch it stumble and fall it's way through the process. I'm not sure it is really gonna work, but KM appears to be managed better. With the dwindling phorum interest, I don't see how this has a chance to score big. Perhaps the press coverage will help... Yet another generation of phans are out there waiting to be engaged. And here we sit...
