At 1:04 a 2006 DateWorks calendar can be seen behind Bree. The month is August. www.jdhodges.com/calendars/22430.htmlAlso at around 2:02 the camera used to film this episode is visible in the reflection. It strongly resembles a Logitech Orbit MP – the webcam they claim to use.

Ah, we finally get to the video that many people claim as the reason they got hooked - Crowley. The introduction of occult elements threw everyone that was thinking this could be viral marketing for a loop - and caused some people to want to rally against the show, believing it to be a front for Thelema. This was also the video that was supposed to quell people's doubts about the authenticity by showing four walls and that it wasn't a sound stage. But the reason I will always remember it is because it is the vid that I posted YouTube Auteur as a response to. I almost didn't upload it, because I disliked this video so much when I first saw it - for me it was the first hint of the divide between Jessica and Bree. ETA: A couple notable early comments sjvince2003 (1 year ago) You have a VERY girly room! lonelygirl15 (1 year ago) I knowwwwwww...but there's some stuff that isn't tooooo girlie [ This reply was made by Bree before anyone pointed out the Crowley pic] HyeMew (1 year ago) Crowley picture link didn't work before. Trying this. It's the top one. The folks at LonelyGirl15 are really playing with our heads now, and I think it's only beginning... [ How much poor Hye would later regret just what began]

And I've often wondered if there wasn't some kind of cosmic karma involved in hanging up that Crowley picture ("Hey, M, let's play with their heads!") that fatefully started M and M down a path they couldn't control and finally forced them either to get rid of the sweet young thing in this video, or have her institutionalized.
No Crowley picture, no . . . Dr. Death?

hard to believe that this is where it all began. I mean, all the craziness. I wonder at what point they kicked themselves for it, if at all.

Without this video, there would never have been a season 2 to get to.
I know it freaked me out when I saw it.
This video also marks when hyemwew started posting at a very quiet phorum.

What I never understood the most about this episode is how Bree started it off saying 'watch what happened, it was funny'. She ends up getting into a fight and dropping the f-bomb at him, and that's what she considers funny? I thought the whole video was out of character for her and I didn't like it at the time, though now it's a cult favorite.

Hye, I think you need to rewatch this episode as it isn't until "I Probably Shouldn't Post This..." that Bree swears.

Oops yeah. Got some wires crossed. Anyway the thing that slightly annoyed me about the whole storyline is that it essentially took the entire month to unfold when in fact if in reality it would have taken a few days at the most. It went on far too long, but if I was sick of waiting for a one-month storyline to work itself out, just imagine the future... (kind of like the year we had to wait for the non-existent ceremony.) I felt having it unfold over such a long period of time made it unrealistic and more obvious that this was a show and not real life.
