Having a teenager myself, I'm gonna have to disagree with that at least as far as the 15-16 year old set goes. The retro 80's thing was really in a couple few years ago..not as much now.
Plus, it amazes me that whenever someone mentions a movie to her she's always "Oh, I love that movie!"...but her myspace says,
"I don't watch much TV or movies. But I do love Napoleon Dynamite, The Notebook, Wizard of Oz. Old comedies like Laurel and Hardy and the Marx Brothers (yes, my parents influence! I'm such a dork)"
You would be surprised then if you came over to where I live. The 80s is still in, well the 80s style. These teenagers around here can't get enough of the 80s and well emo. Also who doesnt lie on myspace. I see some of my friends myspace and Im like what the heck they don't party and do hardcore drugs. So yea maybe she has seen alot of movies but doesnt actually watch movies/television that much, it doesnt take everyday 24-7 to have seen a bunch of movies.
