Have you guys heard of Girltrash? It's a pretty funny web serial with episodes rarely lasting more than two minutes. It has some pretty good actors on it. To name a few: Amber Benson (of Buffy the Vampire Slayer fame) Margaret Cho (famous comedienne) Gabrielle Christian (South of Nowhere) Mandy Musgrave (South of Nowhere) Maeve Quinlan (South of Nowhere, The Bold and the Beautiful) Rose Rollins (The L Word) I'm definitely enjoying the series so far. They have 9 episodes out last I checked. My only complaint is the recap before each video. I'd rather see that time used to put more into the video. Especially since the videos are only a few minutes long, it's not hard to just rewatch a vid if you don't remember where the plot is. www.girltrash.tv Fun stuff!

I haven't had a chance to really watch the vids yet, but they have a hell of a slick website - the character introductions are great and it even has a comic book in the works. If you dig around you can also find a production blog. I haven't come across what sort of length the series has, or even if it has a set length (like PQ did), the one big downside is that it is a weekly (instead of daily show), but perhaps as more and more shows start up a weekly schedule will be better because there will be enough different shows that you won't notice the wait. Well, I'm off to watch it. ETA: If shows like this are going to become the normal fare for online video series... well, LG is in much more serious trouble then just having their site crash a lot.

That is an understatement. Slickly done. Very slick. This one looks very promising on the production/tech side. My second impression: The producers have single-handedly gathered up (and yes they were hawwwt) every girl I dated between (my ages of) 16 and 30. All in one big beautiful mess. Ahhh youth... I think we just found a reason to keep Slainte watching IMS. ETA:Yeah, Badass Lesbians!

I just watched all nine episodes, this is pretty good, original look and concept, snappy writing, and funny. Is this the only place it's posted? Obviously a site geared to the lesbian set, but the show seems like it would have a broader appeal.

I'll have to watch it, just because you mentioned Margaret Cho.

I was struggling to find some people who would enjoy it, so yay! Is this the only place it's posted? Generally series dealing with the LGBT community are a hard sell because people always have their preconceived notions about them. Anywho. I love Girltrash! and I'm super stoked you guys are embracing it as well.
