www.justin.tv Real Reality, Really. Not really a show, but 24/7 live broadcasting with chat and the ability to sms Justin. Interesting to see for the technology I suppose, I fell asleep after 20 minutes though. Has been live for some 20 hours now, so I guess they are still working on it. Check it out if you are hardcore about real reality, I suppose

Nice find, Vanilla. Reminds me slightly of Dotcomguy although this has the obvious difference of the camera being on the guy and he's not house bound. I just watched it for two minutes, but they were action packed. He was explaining the project to some random internet viewer on his cell phone. He said it was to give people a chance to see what it's like to be him, and there was no trace of irony in his voice. Considering he's a nobody, he's either an arrogant jackass or just full of b.s. and not admitting that it's a promotional stunt. Then he got off the phone, said "Dude, I need to f---ing pee like a motherf---er" then proceeded to go pee. I am not a fan.

Woa, you got all the good parts. I watched him shoe shopping for half an hour and then basically talk to some random people.
It seems this is more of a tech demo or a promo for the live streaming site they want to provide. I guess they dream of being the YT for live net media.
Let's hope Renetto does not hear about it. I could not bear to have the 24/7 show. Now that Ze's show is through, maybe somebody should wire a camera on him!

I watched for a while. As it was mildly entertaining while I have nothing to do at work. They were talking about some of the issues and problems, banning a chat room user, spam, sprint, and relay calls. All the while, I'm thinking this would be soo much more interesting if he actually did something. Like anything except just sitting there on the couch and looking at the computer.
And then he got up to go to the bathroom.
Number 2.
And only then did I realize the awful possiblities of filming someone literally 24/7.
ew.

oh, man. the police are rushing in thinking someone's been stabbed, and see all these geeks with their computers. LOL.
now that they've shut down that avenue, what's next? 50 pizza, strippers, etc, etc, etc

While I think they could have been smarter about trying to keep some info private, but not changing their domain registration from their real address and phone numbers. I think it is really sad that some people felt the need to pull a prank like that. And there was another one when someone reported a fire there and sent the fire department. The comments on the techcrunch blog on really scary. While there are some normal people upset about the pranks and the abuse of the police and fire department, there is an alarming number of people who are obviously not based in reality laughing and wondering about more pranks or even suggesting that the entire thing was orchestrated by the justin.tv folks. I feel really sorry for the justin.tv people because, short of moving, there really is not much they can do to close this can of worms...

That's cool. I think I saw it when it was called "EDTV" though.
