Here is my post on September 6th on this site: alissabrooke.proboards56.com/index.cgi?board=intro&action=display&thread=1157527617I believe that Bree is working with a small group of close friends to produce these videos, and that she is, in fact, behind them. It is entirely possible that Bree is a teenage girl, but her profile is not the type of thing a teen would write, even a very gifted one. The way that Bree responds to criticism (or doesn’t respond) is also extremely out of character. I believe that Bree has a general idea of the story she wants to tell, and people like Daniel help her tell it, but I don’t believe that it is an accurate reflection of her life. Here is what I posted on September 6th on another site: amtam.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=12245I actually don't think it is a "big plot". I think it is just a few very talented film students trying to make a name for themselves. ============== I don't think that I was too far off. How did the rest of you do? Did the theories you had surrounding these videos seem to play out? I know the film makers want us to start examining the plot of the videos, but I doubt I will be too involved in that. To uncover who was behind these videos was much more interesting to me.

I guess I'd say I gave them too much credit, because I thought that uncovering who was behind it was part of the game. The next one of these things that pops up will have more layers to dig into. If the world ever trusts a lonely girl again that is. I also didn't think it was as small of a production as it is. Nice to know a $150 webcam gets the job done.

About the only thing I got right was that she wasn't an american but then I still thought she was Australian.

I thought it was an ARG for sure. I guess that's a little closer than some, but I was still pretty far off.
I thought that the point of the ARG was to dig to the bottom of it, and appearantly that's the angle that the creators hadn't anticipated at all.
And the whole "2 lamps and a cheap webcam" part still blows me away. I thought for sure they had some professional equipment.

I was wrong in that I thought it was a group of college kids behind it. I didn't really foresee it having been come up with a bunch of upper-20 somethings. However, I did notice Buka, from the little talking he did, did not seem to be of the college age set. He seemed very out of context and not good in the environment. So I knew he seemed to be older than college, and knew he was in on it (though ironically it turns out he actually WASN'T in on it after dropping out haha) so I guess I should have figured it was more likely non-college age people came up with it. My guess for "Bree" was being born 1986. I was close but over! Daniel I still believe to be over 18 as claimed, but not over 22. So typical college age set right there. I thought that it was all people like him who were behind this entire thing, not somewhat older guys.

I thought it was a little more amaturish than what was announced. I know plenty of people trying to break into showbiz, that will take a variety of unpaid assignments just for the recognition. I thought Jessica and her "film school" friends were behind it...I didn't actually think she was paid and put up to it.
