After discussions with Milowent, the Anchor Cove Secretary of Defense, acting Mayor Terryfic has turned the Cove once again into a gated community. This will require all visitors to identify themselves before being allowed to enter and enjoy our lovely community. Our goal is to keep the streets of Anchor Cove safe from those mystery men lurking in the shadows. And by making sure everyone has a nice nametag on we will avoid those awkward moments when you just can’t put a name to a face. Next time you see a fellow Covite walking down the street make sure to tip your hat and say ‘Good day.’
Also this evening there have been major renovations to Anchor Cove. After a recent spike in emigration, Anchor Cove found herself with a large number of abandoned buildings. So in an effort to clean up and rejuvenate our downtown area we have demolished them and relocated any affected retailers to more active districts.
Recent polling of Covites has revealed that the issue we all feel most strongly about preserving and promoting is our community itself. We all enjoy it when LG15 puts on a show, or when the travelling Green Brothers stop by for a song or story, but what we love the most about Anchor Cove, what keeps us coming back, is each other. All of the things that are external to our community are fantastic and they are what brought each and every one of use here in the first place, but what keeps us together is the amazing collection of people who have chosen to call Anchor Cove their home.
We love to hear your opinion about the different productions we all follow, but I would like to encourage you to share even more. Don’t think of our community as just a place to talk about shows and such. We all have varied and fascinating backgrounds and would all love to hear each others thoughts on any and all topics. Some of my favourite things to read here have not been related to our usual fare at all, like our local paper The New Cove Times, or our small yet ambiguous dictionary (defining our local lexicon), and other stories too, like the detailed piece MiloPress published about The Ex-Girlfriend Project and also of course the Anchors. The next time you come across a funny story or something you think is interesting please take the time to share it with all of us.
